I was watching the credits of KH2 yesterday, and I was wondering ‘What would Sora say in the Secret Spot if DAMNED SQUARE ENIX HADN’T FADED OUT AT THAT MOMENT, THE BASTARDS?’ Anyhoo, this is what came out of that thought. : 3
R e b u i l t – For Emma. You and your funky writing that makes me fall off my chair.
Sora ran his hand over the rock, scratched doodles embedded in the walls of his Secret Spot. He grinned at Kairi and his attempts to make their Spot have ‘foliage’. Then, he looked over at the space where he had drawn his portrait of Kairi, and her portrait of him.
He fell to his knees in surprise. All that went through his mind was ‘She’s seen it. And she’s drawn one herself…’ He placed his hand over the Paopu fruit she had drawn herself giving to him, and smiled softly.
“I drew it when the worlds were rebuilt. I hoped you could have seen it sooner, Sora.” Sora spun around, and watched as Kairi knelt beside him.
“Hmmm…yeah. You do know that you weren’t supposed to see the one that I had draw – Kairi?” he looked at the crying girl with concern. She sniffed softly, letting the tears run down her face.
“I cried everytime I came here. Can you believe that?” she murmured, leaning her head on Sora’s shoulder.
“Yeah…I can believe it…I’m sorry Kairi. I’m never going to leave this place…or you. Ever again. I promise.” He replied softly, rubbing circles into the small of her back.
“I know you won’t…Now, go on, find Riku, because, I have to give you two something later.” Kairi stated, wiping her eyes and face. Sora stood.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” he asked, looking down at her with worry. She nodded fervently. He smiled at her, and placed a small kiss on the top of her head. Kairi watched him until he left.
She burst into tears, and clutched at her shoulders. She screamed and pounded on the wall, until she had no energy left at all. She let out a hiccough-y sigh, wiping her face, and on her way out, she picked up the glass bottle with a letter from the king in it.
“Never going to leave me, huh?” she sighed.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
A young woman stood in the epicentre of a crossroads created from Keyblades thrust into the ground. She raised the hood of her white cloak, and lifted her arms until they were parallel to the sandy ground. The outline of a five foot white heart wove itself around her feet.
“You’re going have to do better than that, if you want to avenge us, Kai-kai.” A man in armour called, twirling an ebony wrought Keyblade in his right hand. Beside him, stood another man, also in armour, holding the twin Keyblade of the other man in a defensive stance.
“Why, who ever said I was going to avenge your lives? You were the ones who volunteered to save the worlds. Now, I’m the one who’s going to stop your parade of darkness.” the woman countered, three Keyblades sparkling into existence around her. Kingdom Key, Way to Dawn, and Flowers of Death spun around and all pointed at the men.
“Aw, Kai, that’s not really fair. Using our old Keyblades against us? We gave you those as a present, not as weapons. You shouldn’t be using them against us!” the other man whined, standing and slinging his dark Keyblade over his shoulder. Kairi scowled deeply.
“Meh-meh-meh-meh-meh! Sora. Shut up, and stop whinging about it. I’m still pissed off at you for breaking your promise.” Kairi snapped, the Keyblades quivering. Sora lifted his helmet off, shaking his ebony spikes out, raven eyes sparkling and a pointed toothy grin directed at Kairi, who flinched at his appearance.
“Aw, what’s wrong, Kairi? Afraid of my new look? I quite like it…it’s darker…doncha think, Riku?” Sora smirked at the other man, who also removed his helmet. Riku’s long hair flew over his face in a wave of black, flying into his eyes, once teal, and now staring darkly at Kairi. She glared right back.
“Just because you two have undergone a ‘Ooh, we’re so evil so we must go dark’ look, that doesn’t mean I can’t defeat you! And, believe me; I will whoop your dark little asses to Kingdom Hearts and back.” Kairi’s azure eyes glowed, and flashed white. Her wine coloured locks turned white from root to tip. The heart emblem at her feet grew wider, and brighter, and the three Keyblades shook with sheer power.
Riku threw his head back and laughed.
“Kairi, you’ve never been able to beat us. What makes you think you ca – oomph!” Kairi had raised a hand, and a beam of light had hit Riku square in the chest, sending him flying backwards into a pile of rusted Keyblades. Sora didn’t even glance back at him. Instead, he reached out his hands to Kairi.
“Princess of Heart! Is that your true power? Well, well, we could certainly use that on our side…how about joining us? It would make everything so much easier. And we could be together again, Princess,” Sora smirked at Kairi’s look of unease.
“…you mean…you won’t leave me again?” she asked, reaching out a shaking hand. Sora grinned toothily.
“I won’t leave you…” he replied. His eyes widened as The Kingdom Key flew towards him and he managed to dive out of the way, but not before it took an arm off his armour.
“You make me sick. I wish you would die.” Kairi spat, The Kingdom Key reappearing by her side.
I think that this is about the only story that ISN’T a one shot that I’ll complete. However, don’t expect me to update every week, or even every month. My muses change all the time.
OH. I have an alternate ending to this chapter! It doesn’t follow the mood of this story, and, it’s just for Shanny-boo, because, well, she gave me the idea for it.

Sora let out a ‘meep’ of terror, and started drawing in the sand. He let out a wail of despair, and pounded his fists into the ground.
“GOD DAMNIT. I CAN’T FREAKING SPELL. STUPID SAND. GAH.”
Kairi’s palm came into contact with her forehead, and with her other hand, she flung The Kingdom Key at Sora, which knocked his head, and made him fall backwards.
She strode over to him, and looked at the childish writing he had come out with.
‘Sora 0 – Riku 0 – Kairi 1 - HAHA, TAKE THAT RIKI.’
“Oh, god. Sora, you’re even more stupid than you were before.” Kairi breathed.
