Staples
Warning: Fluff ahead
“Ow! Hey, be careful!” Sora yelped, as Kairi pulled a staple out of his earlobe. She scowled at him.
“If you weren’t messing around with the teacher’s staple gun, then I wouldn’t have to pull these damned things out for you!” she scolded, while Sora winced as Kairi pulled another staple out of his forehead.
“I blame Riku.” He pouted. Kairi sighed loudly.
“You always blame Riku. He wasn’t even in the class.” She chided. Sora grinned childishly, and Kairi yanked a staple out of his cheek, right below his eye. Sora jerked his head back in pain.
“Keep moving around and you’ll have scars!” she shrieked, waving the staple about. Sora felt blood running down his cheek. “Oh, look what you’ve made me do now!” Kairi grabbed a tissue, holding it gently to his face.
“That really hurt.” Sora mumbled, staring doe-eyed at Kairi. She smiled apologetically, placing her hand under his chin.
“Sorry. I’ll be more care– s-Sora…” Kairi stuttered. Sora had grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him, resting his chin on the crown of her head.
“Let’s just stay this way for a little while…” he whispered in her ear, making her shiver. She nodded into his shoulder. She smiled softly, and looked up at him.
“I’ve still got seven staples to pull out. Can you stick the pain?” she grinned teasingly. Sora grinned back at her and placed a chaste kiss on her lips.
“I’ve had worse,” he mumbled against her lips.
:3 Told you it was pure fluff.

A/N: Not mine, myxbeautifulxlove wrote it for teh challenge on FFN. ^_^ She's awesoooome~
Stare in wonder. Dream vividly. Get your hopes up. Now, come back to reality and realize that it’s not for real.
The tapping of the teacher’s ruler on your desk wakes you from your trance. “Stop daydreaming!” she scolds you. “Go put the problem on the board!”
Another algebra class…another scolding…and just great. You don’t even know what problem you’re supposed to be doing! All you’ve been focusing on is that beautiful red-head in front of you. You’ve been thinking about her in ways you shouldn’t. You keep telling yourself to stop, that you might ruin your friendship with her.
But it’s no use is it? You’re madly in love with her and nothing can change that.
You make your way slowly to the board, but not without looking her way first. She graces you with a small smile and mouths words of reassurance. You half-smile and pick up the expo-marker in front of you.
Genius. You forgot your textbook too. This day can’t get any worse. Why can’t you tear your eyes away from her? Clearly, you must be hypnotized. “I’m waiting!” The teacher’s tapping her foot impatiently from the back of the room.
You gulp and turn to the crisp whiteboard before you. You should be going back to get your textbook and you know it. However, something creeps into your mind. Something that could change your life forever and possibly make you look like a fool in front of everyone. You have to do it though; otherwise you’ll never get the courage to ever try again.
You begin to place the red marker above your head and bring it down slowly; the smell of the marker is almost wrenching. Or is that just your nerves?
You finish you’re scribbling and turn quietly to walk back to your seat. There’s a gasp from her. “Sora…”
She raises herself from her desk, not caring for what the teacher has to say, and embraces you. This is what you’ve always wanted. This is your dream come true, to feel her there in your arms.
Your other peers are staring profoundly at the writing behind you. That’s no math equation. That’s your confession.
Written in bold red is what you’ve been dying to say all along. Kairi, I love you
A/N: ISN'T SHE A GOOD WRITER?! -dies-

Lions Cubs
Sora bounded out of the gummi ship, Riku right on his tail. No, really. Riku, as a lion cub was super cute. Sora let out a small roar to the blooming Pride Lands, which was so much different than the one that he had left with Donald and Goofy.
Riku smirked (can lions smirk? Must find out) and roared at least five times louder than Sora. Sora stuck his tongue out at his best friend. He backed a few paces, preparing him self for a pounce, and sprung at Riku.
Riku’s neck cricked as he turned at the ear-splitting squeal that had come from the red mass of fur that had knocked Sora to the ground. He grinned and sniggered behind his paw as he watched the lion cub version of Kairi rub cheeks with Sora.
“Oh my, god, Sora! You’re so cute!”
Hey, sometimes, Donald was right.

Witchcraft
“Hello witch,” the man (witch hunter) smiles falsely at you (it’s more like a smirk) and you smile falsely right back him even though your absolutely terrified.
“Okay,” he says professionally, “I’m here to interrogate you, Miss Kitimi.”
“I know,” you whisper back, avoiding his eyes, “But please, call me Kairi,” you think that makes you sound more human, somehow?
He just shrugs. “Whatever. Kairi, you are a witch.”
“No, no I’m not,” you’re lying, about the only one of these poor souls interrogated that is.
“Oh, Miss Kitimi-”
“Kairi.”
“I assure you we have plenty of tests for that.”
“Monster,” you whisper deathly quiet. “You absolute monster.”
He looks down ashamedly. “It’s my job,” he explains.
***
“Hello Kairi,” he says as he walks into the room you are held in.
“You remembered to call me by my Christian name?”
“Yes. Strange name.”
“I see,” you say. “Just out of curiosity, what is yours?”
“...Sora...”
“...That sounds like a girl’s name.”
“I know. If it wasn’t for the fact they’re dead, I would sue my parents for giving me that name. I mean, come on. Why couldn’t they have given a good English name like Richard or James or Edward or something? Huh?” he rants.
You giggle at his little rant. “My parents wanted me to be special. So they gave me a special name,” she explains her name, even though the “parents” she is referring to probably don’t count as parents.
He looks at you confusedly. “You witches have parents?”
You groan loudly “For the last time, I’m not a witch.”
“Sure, sure,” he laughs, as if this isn’t a matter of life and death for you.
“Not. Funny,” you scowl.
“Sorry Mi- Sorry Kairi.”
You shrug. “Hey Sora?”
“Mmm Kairi?”
“Could you come back to interrogate me a few more times?” you ask. “You’re the only one of the “Witch” finders that has been even the slightest bit kind to me, and it’s getting on my nerves.”
He laughs and grins. “Sure. Just don’t mention my kindness to my bosses. I’m definitely not meant to by kind.”
“Sure thing”
***
One night, you just wake up and realise you’re in love with him.
But he’s a witchfinder.
You’re a witch.
So he’ll never love you.
Unless...
You close your eyes and think of him. His grin, his way of making you forget they’re going to kill you, just him in general. You penetrate his mind, and start planting thoughts of you. You change what he sees as a friendship to what you feel for him and make him love you.
But even with all your power, it’s not real.
***
“Kairi?” he asks with a warm smile.
“Yes Sora?” you ask. You know whats coming next.
“...I love you.”
You grin. “Me too,” you lean through your cage bars and he kisses you. Due to the fact you made him fall in love with you it feels slightly forced but that’s easy to ignore, so you kiss him back, and for a second, just a second, you feel like you’re free and not going to die soon.
But you are. You can’t avoid it.
But you don’t want to hurt him by doing that.
***
Your execution date is set, two days from now, and your thoughts turn to him. You know that the way you’ve made things if you die his heart will break. And with the power of your love spell that could completely destroy him. Of course, that can’t happen. You wouldn’t care if that meant he would hate you forever and a day, just as long as he was safe from the dangerous form of heartbreak a witch quite unwillingly leaves.
So you go back into his mind and carefully erase his love for you. You erase all memory of him ever loving you. You erase kisses, you erase discussion of what he would do without you, you just erase the fact he was ever with you, no matter how secretly the relationship was. It’s back to the way it was and should be, a little friendship, but as you are erasing these memories and saving him from heartbreak, you think you feel your own heart break but it doesn’t really matter because you a witch and no-one cares about you and you’re going to die in two days time anyway.
He’s safe now. That’s all that matters.
***
About five minute before they are going to take you away to be burnt, he come to say goodbye. It’s friendly and sad. You’re longing and yearning for him to give you a kiss goodbye, to promise you he loves you, but he won’t because he doesn’t love you.
He’s not yours. He’ll never really love you and no amount of sorcery will ever change that.
***
You see the crowd of people gathering around, smirking as you are tied to the stake and you want to cry, but the tears won’t come because witches can’t cry. You spot his face in the crowd and he just shrugs pathetically at you. He won’t do what you wish he would. He won’t rush up here with a pail of water and he won’t free you and you won’t live happily ever after with him. He’ll just sit there and watch the flames surrounding you.
At least he won’t laugh at your fate, as a friend...?
You feel the hot flames surrounding you and it hurts so much you just want to turn of your head and body so you can’t feel this excruciating pain.
You’re all out of screams and his name lingers on your lips, a final word.
“Sora...”

Fall“Sora!” Kairi exclaimed as she saw the blue-eyed, spiky-haired weilder running towards her. “Kairi!” he exclaimed back at her. That moment, a shake went through the ground on which they were standing. The gap between the two plate widened, and Kairi stumbled. Sora caught her. “Kairi!” Sora said. “I’ll come back for you!” he desperately wanted to say “I love you,” but for some reason he was still too nervous. Kairi frowned in consideration. “No,” she said. Sora was beside himself with confusion. Then, Kairi jumped. Unfortunately, the gap between them had somewhat widened since Kairi had concocted the plan, despite it only having been a few seconds. What was a distance you could jump before now was simply not. So she didn’t make to Sora. She fell in the middle. She screamed. “Kairi!” Sora yelled. He extended his hand for her to grip onto, but it was too late. She was out of reach. “Kairi!!! KAIRI!!” “I LOVE YOU!” She yelled desperately as the abyss swallowed her form. “No...” Sora fell to his knees, and wept for Kairi. Wept for the princess of heart. Wept for the girl he loved. He wept for the girl he could never come back for now. A/N: That was... short.

I AM THE FIRST COMING
A/N: I gave up on the whole tragic thing... Ah well. Though you do feel for Riku... Actually, you wanna go "AHHHHHH! STOP BEING SO NICE! HE SNOGGED THE GIRL YOU LIKE! PUNCH HIS LIGHTS OUT MORON!!!!30two!" Er... Yeah... >.>
“I AM THE FIRST COMING!!!!” Sora belowed dramatically, standing up on the bench. The whole school turned to look at him, then laughed their asses off.
“The hell Sora? Don’t you mean the second coming? What about Jesus?” Kairi commented on Sora’s exclamation.
“Oh, that fool, that Jesus fool, he tricked so many! So many! How many believed he was the true messiah...” Sora said devilishly. “But the one and only messiah is ME, SORA HIKARI!!!!”
“Sora, you’re a nut case,” Riku and Kairi said in sync.
“Ah yes children, you may think so... I must redeem this world of it’s sins! May it not matter if I live or die!” Sora proclaimed.
Riku sighed. “Sora, one thing. If you become the messiah, you are not allowed to have a girlfriend for some reason, which means you can’t be with Kairi,” He explained. The Kairi-card worked quite well, and Riku was quite pleased to see her blush (despite Riku’s own feelings for the auburn-haired Princess of Heart. He hadn’t completely confirmed Kairi’s feelings for Sora before, and he wanted them to be happy).
Sora sat down. “I’m not the messiah. Jesus was.”
“Good,” Kairi grinned.
“Hey Kai, since I’m not the messiah...” Sora grinned naughtily at her.
“Mmm Sora?” She replied innocently. Then, Sora smashed his lips against hers.
Riku laughed at the couple, despite the fact his heart just got a bit broken.
“Oh... Whoops...” Sora said sheepishly after he and Kairi broke apart. He knew Riku felt the same way about Kairi that he did “Sorry Riku...”
Riku shrugged it off. “As long as you two are happy, I’m fine.”
Kairi gawped. “You are TOO good a sport Riku.”

A/N: Believe it or not, Mini-Shan wrote this. Now, her AN:
A/N- Warning. This is corny. Very. Corny. Forgive me if it's a little OOC. Plus, it's set pre-KH1, so those of you who've played KH2, don't bug me about their age.
Halloween
Kairi's eyes looked into Sora's, a pleading look in them. "Please, Sora? You promised me we'd go trick-or-treating one last time."
"That was because...well, you're my best friend," said Sora, trying not to hurt Kairi's feelings. "But since we're fourteen now, trick-or-treating just seems kind of childish..."
Without warning, Kairi's lips pressed against his, and his eyes widened. This was totally unexpected! Was this a bribe, to get him to go trick-or-treating with her? Whatever it was, it was sure working.
When they broke apart, Kairi looked at Sora. "Please, Sora? One more time?"
There was a pause, and Sora grinned at her.
"I'll go," he said, "but I wouldn't mind another kiss before we go."
Kairi smiled, and kissed him again. "Let's go. I think that was enough for now."

Le Matchmakers
“Tidus sure is taking a liking to that fairy girl,” Kairi said, “That one with brown hair, wears pinks, blues and white, dammit I forgot her name... Wuma?”
Sora snickered. “Yuna. Jeez Kairi...”
Kairi stuck her tongue out. “Close e-nough,” she said childishly. “You know what we should shoud do Sora?!?” She asked in a excited voice.
“...What?” Sora did not like the sound of this. He did not like of this at all.
“We should get them together!” She grinned like a mad woman. Sora thought this may be a good time to head for the door and run as far as frickin’ could. Yet, he didn’t.
“Uh...” He stated inconclusively.
“C’mon Sora! Don’t you wanna help the course of true LOVE?” Kairi asked, feeling his hesitation.
“Yes, but I don’t want to look gay/like an idiot at the same time. Matchmaking is a thing for GIRLS and no you are not allowed to impersonate Yuffie and scream “SEXIST” at the top of your lungs,” he concluded, out of breath.
Kairi pouted. “Damn. Sora! Won’t they look ADORABLE together?”
“If they can reach each other,” Sora snickered. “Kai, Yuna is a chibi. A living chibi.”
“Can I scream “HEIGHTIST” at the top of my lungs now?” Kairi asked hopefully.
“No.”
“Aww. First you won’t matchmake Tidus and Yuna with me, now you won’t even let me scream “HEIGHTIST” at the top of my lungs! you’re so mean! You know what! I’ll scream “HEIGHTIST” at the top of me lungs anyway!” Sora withered in horror. “HEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTIST! HEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIST!”
“Okay, okay! I’ll do the damn matchmaking with you!” Sora said as he recoiled.
“Really! You will! YAAAAAAAY!” Kairi said hyperly, and promptly glomped Sora. Half of him turned to a pile of gloop, the other (sane) half felt major dread. “Who gave you the sugar?” He directed his rhetorical question to the girl who was still glomping him.
She pretended not to hear him. Or maybe she really didn’t hear him. “We shall be... LE MATCHMAKERS!”
“Kairi, I’m pretty sure “matchmakers” isn’t French.”
Kairi poked her tongue out him. “Like you’d know! You didn’t take French! I did!”
“That doesn’t count because you just skipped all the French lessons to go the library, and use the computers to study Esperanto,” Sora reminded her.
“I was still learning a language!”
“IT STILL WASN’T FRENCH!”
“Details, details...”
“...You’re nuts Kai.”
She grinned. “And that’s what you love about me.”
Of out Sora’s mouth nearly slipped. “Well, that’s true,” but he managed to stop himself. Kairi didn’t know Sora liked her that way.
“Anywaysssssssss...” Kairi said. “How are we gonna get Tidus and... Yanny? Is that it?”
“It’s Yuna, Kai.”
“Uh. Anyhoo, how are we gonna get ‘em together?” Kairi asked.
“Simple: lock them in the janitor’s closet,” Sora informed her.
“Ooh yay! Yeah! They’ll start making out for sure!” Kairi jumped around a bit. “Yup, put too much sugar on her cornflakes this one,” thought Sora.
“But how to we get the keys...” Sora mused.
“Le duh, Sora. We steal them from the janitor!” Kairi said.
“...Does that count as being illegal?”
“You know what?” Kairi beamed. “I don’t know. And when it comes to TRUE LOVE, it doesn’t matter!”
“You are a really suckish Princess of Heart...”
“You meanie!”
Sora glanced briefly at the clock. “Holy! It’s 10:43 already? We maaaaajorly lost track of time.”
“Oh yah...” Kairi said. “I best be getting back to the orphanage!” she said, gathering her stuff and leaving.
“Say hi to Riku for me!” he called. Riku and Kairi happened to live in the same orphanage. *** “Selphie, did you possess Kairi last night?” Sora asked the next day at school.
Riku stared.
“No really, Kairi was acting really like Selphie yesterday! She was all hyper and stuffs!” Sora said waving his arms around. “So did you Selph?”
Selphie looked sheepish. “Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybeeeeeeeee,” she said.
“Great. Just great,” Sora said. “Eh, I gotta go. Kai’s making me meet her. Bye!” Sora walked off.
“Yay! It worked! They’re off matchmaking Tidus and Yuna, who are matchmaking them! Yaaaaaaay!” Selphie did a little victory dance.
“I still don’t see why we had to get Tidus and Yuna and Sora and Kairi to matchmake each other, instead of just doing it ourselves,” Riku said.
“We made them matchmake each other so there would be no way they could get mad at us.” *** “You got the keys Kai?” Sora asked.
“Yeah. Got ‘em,” Kairi winked. “Now, Tidus and Zona-”
“Yuna,”
“-will come here any second,” she concluded, as if Sora’d never spoke. She snuck up and opened the closet. Soon enough, Tidus and Yuna came walking/flying past. “Hey Tidus and the fairy girl!” she waved.
“I have a name,” Yuna informed her.
“I know that; I can just never remember it,” Kairi said.
“Uh, why’s the janitor’s closet open?” Tidus asked.
“No idea-- Sora NOW!” Kairi exclaimed, and tried to push Yuna and Tidus into the closet. Sora came out and helped. But Tidus was stronger and Yuna had fairy magic, so instead of Tidus and Yuna ending up in the closet, Sora and Kairi did. Tidus leaned against the door, because they couldn’t lock it. Kairi had the keys.
“Uh...” Sora said, thankful the darkness was hiding his blush. “So... Not much space in here is there?” he asked. Suddenly, he felt the urge to lean down and start snogging Kairi until she couldn’t see straight. So he did. *** “Yay! We got them together!” Yuna exclaimed happily.
“Whoo! Go us!” said Tidus.
Yuna flew up, with a naughty grin. Y’know...” she trailed, “They were trying to get us together,” she giggled. “We wouldn’t want to disappoint them,” with that she started kissing Tidus.
“Uhhm.”
Tidus and Yuna broke apart to see the janitor. This jaintor did not seem to approve of random kissing sessions just outside his closet. “Er... Um... Eek...” mumbled Tidus incoherently. Without a word, the janitor opened the door.
He didn’t really approve of random kissing sessions inside his closet either.
Sora and Kairi broke apart. “...We’re in all this shit now, aren’t we?” Sora asked no-one in particular.
“Hell yeah,” replied Tidus.

Madness A/N: Another one for the kinda-abandoned challenges on TLL. Because I’m awesome. Anyway, a bit of this references the song ‘Rough Landing, Holly’ by Yellowcard because I love that song and it fitted. But whatever. *** (I know by know, The margin’s slight, And still I can’t get out, She’s all I think about, Can’t let her go. It’s who you know...) “Rough Landing, Holly,” Yellowcard *** He knew she was mad. And that was an understatement. It hurt to see her, speaking gibberish or screaming at nothing. Everyone else stopped seeing her a long time back, it hurt them too much. But he couldn’t. He still loved her. He shouldn’t, since he had a girlfriend, but he did. She never even knew he loved before she lost her mind, but he did. More than anything. And he still did, even if he hadn’t seen the real Kairi for five years. She was his best friend before it all, and that was his excuse to keep visiting her. He would say that, and Yuffie would grudgingly accept. He pitied Yuffie, and was wracked with guilt over it all, but what could he do? He couldn’t just stop himself loving Kairi... But Yuffie, for all her strange ways, truly did love him. Riku never moved on either. He loved Kairi too. He hadn’t got a girl since. Sora wondered why he pretended to move on while Riku didn’t. Then he realised he didn’t really want to know the answer. Sora knew that if she ever recovered, and if she agreed, he would leave Yuffie for Kairi in a split-second. But their were very little chances of Kairi recovering. No-one even knew why she went mad, she just... did. But when she did, she went completely and totally mad. Stark raving bonkers. And he wanted to know why. He loved her. He still loved her. More than ever. *** 20 years later, he had a son named Roxas; age sixteen. Same age as he was when Kairi went mad. In 20 more years, Kairi hadn’t recovered, and he hadn’t stopped loving her. And he still visited Kairi. He’d given up all hope of her recovering, but still, he thought of her always, she was all he thought about, and he couldn’t get out of that. He couldn’t let her go. Sora’s son Roxas had a best friend named Naminé (who was in fact Kairi’s niece, but no-one knew it except Namine’s mother), who Roxas was in fact in love with. Then, one day, Naminé went completely mad. Sora knew the rest of that story.

Narration “Two households, both alike in dignity.”
And they chorus that to start. They were a kind of unusual chorus, they shouldn’t be working together... After all, Sora’s father was the leader of one of the biggest gangs in the country... Kairi’s father was a policeman. Everyone knew about Mr. Hikari, but everyone was just too scared to voice anything.
Kairi had always made sure to keep well away from him: Mr. Kitimi suspected everything with the Hikaris, and... Kairi was petrified of her father. Despite being a policeman, anyone who wouldn’t class Mr. Kitimi as abusive would have to be mad.
However, they both landing the part of chorus for Romeo and Juliet. They weren’t angry as such, more scared. Of their fathers, and both decided to keep it secret.
However, the two found they got along, and by the second day... They were in love. It was a bit random, and top-secret. After all, a gangster’s son and a abusive policeman’s daughter?
Rehearsals were really the only place they could see each other. Yet again, they were scared. Luckily for them, Ms. Dawe and Danny were not blind, and let them ‘rehearse’ on their own a lot.
One day, Kairi broke down in tears with only Sora around. “I-I hate my life.”
Sora embraced her. “Then leave your life. Where do you want to go? I can get money, get us plane tickets to anywhere,” he kissed her, waiting for an answer.
Kairi didn’t take long. “Ireland. Can we go to Ireland? I’ve always wanted to go to Ireland.”
“Hey presto then! I’ll get the money, and we’ll be on our way to Ireland. Build a new life there,” He encouraged her.
“Once the play’s over, Sora.” *** The play was over.
Applause surrounded them; as the leads embraced it all. Sora just whispered in Kairi’s ear: “Tonight.”
Kairi was overjoyed. But the fathers had gotten suspicious of the couple; and Mr Kitimi had guessed the plan correctly. He knew. Kairi would not go to Ireland tonight. *** Mr Hikari found Sora getting the money.
“Sora?” Mr. Hikari’s voice asked as he saw the unmistakable shadow of spiky hair. He had plans as to what to do with his son.
“...Father,” Sora slowly turned around as Mr Hikari smiled sickly at him.
“I know your plan. Your running away with that Kitimi girl.”
Sora fought back the urge to insist her name was Kairi; and simply stood silent in the kitchen. He saw his father reaching for a draw. “Oh god oh shit he’s gonna kill me.” He tried to run, but his legs wouldn’t move.
With one quick move, Mr Kitimi sliced Sora through the stomach and the dream was over. *** “I KNOW YOUR PLAN, GIRL!” Mr. Kitimi bellowed at Kairi; punching her in the face.
“Running away with that scum, going to your precious Ireland,” he mocked as he continued to hit and kick his daughter and she cried.
“Don’t... kill... me... Please... Dad...”
Mr Kitimi snarled. “I won’t kill you. Get out of my house; you bitch!”
Kairi gasped.
“Get out! I bet your Sora’s DEAD!” *** It had been 3 years. Kairi was living in on the streets.
Her father had been right; Sora was killed. Kairi had nowhere to go, no relatives, nothing. She slept on park benches and sold her body so she could get food.
She had lost absolutely everything. Everything. Hope, Pride, Home, and Love.
She was alone. And it wouldn’t of happened if she hadn’t met her Sora; no matter how much she loved him.
Internally; she cursed Shakespeare.

Wonder
“Close your eyes daughter Kairi, I’m right here.”
And he was, her young father, right behind her, who would kiss her and she would be his and the love, oh the love.
“You’re you’re mother beauty but with your sweetness, your wonder, you mother was plain in soul, weak. You’re amazing.”
Morals didn’t matter, it wasn’t sinful, it was pure when her father Sora made love to her, and she would be forever his.
“Everyone would frown upon this daughter Kairi, but we’re better than them, don’t worry, we are wonderful, pure, they are stupid.”
Kairi Aggerie died aged 14 in childbirth, giving the deformed Reva Aggerie to the world. Sora Aggerie confessed Reva’s parentage and is currently in jail for statutory rape.
