A/N: ‘Tis finally here. Whoot.
As a side note, I took some people’s speculations of KH3 from GameFAQs and mashed them all into one. I also took my own speculations. So… yeah.
Opening Theme Song ~ Be My Escape by Relient K
I’ve given up on giving up slowly, I’m blending in so you won’t even know me Apart from this whole world that shares my fate This one last bullet you mention, is my one last shot at redemption because I know to live you must give your life away
And I’ve been housing all this doubt and insecurity and I’ve been locked inside that house All the while you hold the key And I’ve been dying to get out, and that might be the death of me And even though, there’s no way in knowing where to go, promise I’m going because I gotta get outta here I’m stuck inside this rut that I fell into by mistake I gotta get outta here And I’m begging you, I’m begging you, I’m begging you to be my escape.
I’m giving up on doing this alone now Cause I’ve failed and I’m ready to be shown how He’s told me the way and I’m trying to get there And this life sentence that I’m serving I admit that I’m every bit deserving But the beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair
Cause I’ve been housing all this doubt and insecurity and I’ve been locked inside that house all the while you hold the key And I’ve been dying to get out, and that might be the death of me And even though, there’s no way in knowing where to go, promise I’m going because I gotta get outta here Cause I’m afraid that this complacency is something I can’t shake I gotta get outta here And I’m begging you, I’m begging you, I’m begging you to be my escape.
I am a hostage to my own humanity Self detained and forced to live in this mess I’ve made And all I’m asking is for You to do what You can with me But I can’t ask you to give what you already gave
Cause I’ve been housing all this doubt and insecurity and I’ve been locked inside that house, all the while you hold the key And I’ve been dying to get out, and that might be the death of me And even though, there’s no way in knowing where to go, promise I’m going because I’ve gotta get outta here I’m stuck inside this rut that I fell into by mistake I’ve gotta get outta here And I’m begging you, I’m begging you, I’m begging you to be my escape.
I fought you for so long I should have let you win Oh how we regret those things we do And all I was trying to do was save my own skin But so were you
So were you
~Prologue: Birth By Sleep~
Is this really all that’s ever been?
…Is this really all that ever was?
Is it the beginning, or the end? The middle?
One thing is for sure, though,
It all began by birth by sleep.
A black cat with white paws and a mage’s outfit looked around the castle, amber eyes searching, staff held aloft. She looked about fifteen, if you could consider a cat a teen. She peered around the corner and walked down one of the many hallways of Castle Llamiad. She let out a deep sigh as she cast another Magnera spell, hoping her annoying apprentice would come zooming to her.
“Dammit, Darktip, where are you…” The cat said, her black tail with its white tip twitched, and she continued to stalk off down the hall, starred cape swaying. “Laura can’t stay put for one effing minuet…” The cat muttered to herself, and noted that the castle Captain, Izzra the Raccoon, coming down the hall.
“Hey, Shanny-Boo the Purepaw-ded-ness.” Izzra said, and adjusted her rainbow legwarmers and rainbow tailwarmer. Izzra was known for her superb fencing skills, as she was highly dangerous with a rapier, but could be ever-so-slightly crazy and a couple French fries short of a Happy Meal. “Your apprentice is looking for you, and I was too. It’s about the Queen Sarah-Bob.”
Shannon Purepaw’s sarcastic and prickly mood changed to one of seriousness and concern, and she looked genuinely puzzled as well. They were both looking for her? What happened to the Queen? Now that Izzra mentioned it, the Queen had been acting awfully strange of late, but that could be the fact that her children, Bob, Remius and Rahari, were constantly fighting over who would get the throne next.
“The Queen?” Shannon Purepaw said inquisitively. “What about her?”
“She left a note- Laura found it- what’s why she’s been looking for you.” Izzra said, and adjusted her tailwarmer again. “It’s urgent.”
“So I’ve noticed.” Shannon said tartly, and teleported herself and Izzra to the Queen’s throne room.
Izzra and Shannon arrived in the room of white walls, empty except for one single golden throne and a table. Laura Darktip, Shannon’s apprentice, one year younger than her, was considered one of the bounciest creatures alive, but no one could really blame her. She was born into one to the highest societies in the world of Duvalia, and was the heiress to a huge fortune. But that didn’t make her the greatest mage, especially compared to her cousin.
Laura was all white except for the tip of her tail and her paws, which were black, which made her the exact opposite of Shannon. She also had the Darktip family sign dyed into her forehead fur in red. Her eyes were mismatched, one blue and one amber, giving her a slightly deranged look. Laura turned around, startled, when Izzra and Shannon teleported into the room.
“Ohmigod, ohmigod, Shanny, you have to read this- ow.” Laura said as she waved a letter aloft, a letter that bore the Llamiad Castle crest! However, Shannon snatched it form her bouncy cousin, and (purposely) stepped on her foot in the process.
“Don’t call me Shanny again or it will be the end of you.” Shannon said flatly and read the letter.
Dear those of Llamiad Castle,
It is I, you Queen Sarah-Bob, who has indeed written this. I have gone away, but do not be alarmed about my disappearance. Instead, you should be alarmed about your destiny. The worlds of the Llamiad Universe are in great danger, as I have suspected, according to a prophecy long ago about a door- a Door of Destiny. It is said that seven keys, seven being the most magical number as told by the Duvalians and Londonians, can open it- I have one of them. The seven keys are supposedly from two universes, three in ours and four from another. I have set out to find this place.
Also, there are more people required on this journey- seven Princesses of heart from each universe, to open the door.
Why we have to open the door, I do not know, but it has to do with something.
Something called birth by sleep.
I have some orders for you all. Miss Purepaw and Miss Darktip- the both of you are to return to your homeworld, Duvalia, and find the true heir to the High Magess. Purepaw- I know you’ll be very reluctant to return though, but please do so- you’re the best castle mage I’ve ever seen.
Izzra- you are to head out to Kimptonia and disguise yourself as a new Nobody or Soulless- they take either. A Soulless is the third part of a body, the heart, the body, the soul. Organization 14- ruled by Xellis of Kimptonia, is a Soulless. Her partner, Xemnas, is a Nobody. I believe there are two people trapped within Organization 14 that do not deserve to be there. The Organization 14, has nothing to do with a certain Organization 13. The 14 are Chasers. They hunt down those who oppose the 14th Organization, they also collect those ‘keys’.
Miss Darktip- once Miss Purepaw has a lead on whom the High Magess might be, and when she has found three of the four keys, return back to Llamiad Castle. I’m afraid that when I’m gone, Bob, Remius, and Rahari will fight for the throne.
I am now looking for this next universe’s ‘King’. There is no doubt in my mind he has one of those ‘keys’ however, I think finding him will be a difficult task indeed.
With Best Regards,
Queen Sarah-Bob
“This is terrible.” Laura said, and was, for once, silenced and calm. Her different colored eyes brimmed with tears. “Do y’all think the Queen’ll come back?”
“She’s not called ‘Queen’ for nothing, Laura.” Izzra said comfortingly, and gave Laura a little pat on the head. “What do you think, Shanny-Boo?”
“First off, it’s Shannon.” Shannon said and flattened her ears back against her head and let out a hiss. “Second off, the Queen was right… I do not wish to return to Duvalia, however, if it is my job to find the High Magess, the Queen of Duvalia, so be it. So be it for everything. Let the keys unlock this door…”
It all began with birth by sleep.
***
“Sora! Riku!” Kairi called out to her two friends, panting heavily as if she had just run a marathon. She held a bottle with a message in it in her right hand.
“Hey, what’s up?” Sora said casually, and Riku jumped off the Paopu branch. Kairi shook her head, maroon hair swaying, and handed Sora the bottle. He looked at it and saw an insignia on the note inside of it- a circle with very round, ears on it. The King’s Head. “A note from the king?!” He said eagerly, and uncorked the bottle and pulled the note out of it. Riku and Kairi peered over their shoulders- amazed and slightly, yet none of them would ever admit it, scared.
Dear Sora, Riku and Kairi,
I’m afraid I have some alarming news.
You’re going to have to leave the Island once again. All three of you. It’s too dangerous.
Let me explain.
Apparently, when two of you, respectively Sora and Riku, locked Kingdom Hearts forever, another door opened. A Door of Destiny. I’m not sure of it’s true purpose, but neither is anybody else. Not in our universe, or not in any other universe. A Queen from another Universe- The Llamiad Worlds, where the threat to you three has come alive. In that world- there is an Organization- the 14th organization.
A long time ago the Keyblade wasn’t as rare a weapon as it was now. All of those with strong hearts, minds, and souls wielded one. But there was a group against it- A group called Organization 14. Organization 14 was created before Organization 13, I guess you could say they copied them. Organization 14 is made up of Heartless, Nobodies, and Soulless. Yes, soulless, the third part of the body. Organization 14 are Chasers- they hunt down those with Keyblades and massacre their minds, their hearts, and their souls. If you stay on the island- they’ll surely find you, and kill you. As you have one more important role to fill, we need you three.
A Gummi Ship will arrive for you later tonight. Sora, you know how to fly it.
Donald and Goofy are with me on an important mission to the other Universe. Those from the other universe will fill you in, as you three are off to that Universe, but will probably come back to this one, as you will probably have to unlock (or lock) some worlds here too.
Keep looking for the light,
King Mickey
The trio finished reading the King’s letter at the same time- each of their expressions different. Riku was as calm and as collected as ever, Sora exasperated, and Kairi excited.
“Do we EVER get a day off?” Sora said, and leaned against the Paopu branch. Riku shook his head of long, white hair.
“Guess not.” He said, his face now expressionless.
“But you do know what this means, don’t you?” Kairi said excitedly, and was practically jumping up and down. “I get to come along with you two this time!”
Sora and Riku groaned simultaneously.
“Kairi, you’ll get hurt.” Sora said, seriously. Kairi didn’t blink.
“So? Last time I stayed put-”
“You DIDN’T stay put- that’s my point exactly, you went of looking for me-”
“I was worried about you!”
“Weren’t we all?”
“Will you two STOP IT?” Riku growled, and then began to laugh. “I sound like a mom.”
“We always knew you were girly.” Sora said, and dodged a cuff to his head while Kairi giggled.
“But… really…” Kairi said, looking out into the ocean which was reflecting the sun that was just beginning to set, “do you think this’ll ever end?”
And all three of them looked at each other, and knew what the other was exactly thinking.
The answer was no.

A/N: Yay for the next part! If anybody’s seen the spoof ‘Kingdom Hearts Chronicles’ I took a little part from than and put it in here… yeah… XD Kudos to those who can figure out which part it is, kupo!
~Chapter 1: The Prophecy of Seven~
“Sora, are you POSITIVE you can drive this… thing…?” Riku said, looking at the spacecraft made out of vibrantly colored blocks with one raised eyebrow.
“Positive… I think…” Sora said, sheepishly. “I know how to fly to and from worlds in it, but not how to fly into another universe…”
“We’re all screwed. Just screwed.” Riku said, and rolled his eyes.
“Aw, c’mon Riku, cheer up.” Kairi said, she was used to breaking up fights between Sora and Riku. “Sora can’t be that bad at flying if he’s done it for two years.” Kairi said positively. Sora blushed.
“Uhm. Er. Thanks, Kairi…” He said, and the three boarded the Gummi Ship, and had one last long look at the Destiny Islands where they grew up. ***
“We’re going back to Duvalia, Shanny-Boo! Yaaaaaaay! I get to see mum and dad!” Laura Darktip said eagerly, her red and silver cape swaying as she twirled her silver scepter with the ruby on the end.
“No. No. We are NOT going back to Duvalia, no matter WHAT the Queen says. You CAN’T make me, Laura!” Shannon said, spitting fury, her amber eyes glowing with ferocity. Laura took a step back, frightened.
“B-b-but Shanny-Boo-“
“SHANNON.”
“B-b-but Shannon, you have to be loyal to the Queen Sarah-Bob! You need to do what she says.” Laura said, her mismatched eyes showing concern and anxiety. “You’re the Castle Mage! And no one knows the streets better than you do-“ Laura began, but immediately knew it was the wrong thing to say.
“Of course I know the streets the best! The Purepaw family! One of the families of the LOWEST society in Duvalia! Not to mention that all the other Purepaws, save for one, ME, were MASSACRED.” Shannon said, her tail swishing in annoyance and anger. “I. AM. NOT. GOING. BACK.” Shannon said, and with that, she stalked out of the castle and ran off into the woods, and looked back at Llamiad Castle, holding her sapphire and gold staff aloft. “I am never going to be fit to stay in a castle…”
***
“…None of you would know how to warp into another galaxy, would you?” Sora said sheepishly as he pressed a couple buttons on the control panel of the Gummi Ship.
Riku grinned triumphantly. “I KNEW you didn’t know how to fly this!”
“Nevermind.” Sora said and pulled on of the levers.
With that, the Gummi Ship blasted off into the Llamiad Universe.
…And crash landed in Llamiad Castle’s Forest…
***
“Never. Never again, Sora…” Riku said as he rubbed his head and got up from what remained of the Gummi Ship (which was dented and smoking…)
A silver keyblade punctured the remains of the Gummi Ship, and Sora wrestled his way out. “Hey, I said I never flew into another universe before…” He looked around. “Hey, where’s Kairi?”
“I told her to scout the area. Why is she the one who never ends up hurt?” Riku questioned thoughtfully, but Sora ignored that question.
“You what?! Are you mad? She’s going to get herself killed out there and-“
“Chill. Didn’t you just hear me on why I wonder she never ends up beaten up like the rest of us?” Riku said coolly. “Besides, she wields a Keyblade now.” He said, then turned his ice-turquoise eyes on Sora. “You like her.”
“No I don’t!” Sora said indignantly.
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
“Well, you like her too!”
“…got me there…” Riku admitted and shrugged. “Well, anyway, it’s about high time we ended this argument, she should be coming back right about now.”
“Yeah…” Sora said feverently.
The silence was then split by a high pitched scream of fright.
“Kairi!” They said simultaneously and ran off into the woods. ***
“What in Llamiad are YOU doing storming the Castle, intruder!” Shannon Purepaw snarled, her earrings dangling as they flattened back against her head as well as they could with her patched up mage’s hat.
“I was not storming the castle!” Kairi said indignantly. “Think about it. If I was, wouldn’t I have more people with me?”
“You probably do, sister! Say your prayers!” Shannon snarled and launched herself at Kairi, clutching her mage’s staff that had a sapphire on the end, and began to attack.
Kairi dodged in self-defence, and let out a scream of pure terror. She didn’t know, or even remember how, to re-summon her flowery and silver Keyblade. She braced herself for another swipe at with the staff, but was unprepared when Shannon didn’t slash at her but cast a Thunder spell (Thundaga probably, by its strength), and sent Kairi hurtling into a tree.
“You’re probably one of those Organization fourteen nitwits the Queen talked about!” Shannon snarled, and lashed her tail in anger. “Prepare to die, slowly and painfully…”
Kairi knew when she saw the mage’s cat’s fiery amber eyes that there was no way out. She was going to die. She would never see the islands, Riku… or Sora… ever again. Kairi was brought out of reverie of thought when she felt something weighted in her hand. Her Keyblade! With a new defiance, she took and swipe at the angry mage cat.
Shannon brought her staff up in defense, and soon it was like she and Kairi were having a sword fight, spare the fact Shannon was using a staff instead of a sword.
“You’re not half bad, girly.” Shannon said coolly, but panting, as she attempted to slash at Kairi again. “Fight much? You’re better than my wuss of an apprentice.”
“Thanks.” Kairi said as she parried the blow. “You’re not bad yourself.”
“KAIRI, WE’RE COMING!” Sora and Riku cried as they ran to the battlescene.
“I knew you had accomplices, missy!” Shannon said, and parried one of Kairi’s swipes easily. “You’re a pretty good liar and-“ Shannon stopped as she looked over at Riku and Sora, and then she noticed on thing: The Keyblades.
“Holy BANANA CREAM PIE!” Shannon said and dropped her staff and put her white-tipped paws up in the air. “I surrender.”
“Well, that was easy.” Riku mused, and then raised one eyebrow as Shannon did a little dance.
“It’s you three! Three of the four! Yippee! The Queen was right! The Queen was right! Ah! I love you!” Shannon said and she ran over and gave Riku and Sora a hug. “Especially you two… Rawr…” Shannon said as Sora and Riku let out uneasy laughs and Kairi looked mutinously jealous.
Shannon walked back over to Kairi. “Sorry for attacking you,” Shannon said, and actually bowed, “I am ashamed. I didn’t know it was the Three of the Llamiad Prophecy.”
“Prophecy?” Sora echoed. Shannon nodded.
“The Queen knows more about but, ah, well, she’s not here. So her two sons and daughter are in charge right now…” Shannon mused. “What am I saying? C’mon, I’ll tell you when we’re in the castle…” Sora and Riku shrugged and followed, but Kairi stayed behind, still looking mutinous. Shannon noticed and swished her black tail with the white tip side to side. “Aw, you can trust me. I don’t eat junk food.” And with that little dis, Shannon Purepaw, Sora, Riku and Kairi set foot in Llamiad Castle.
***
“How is the plan coming along, Xemnas?” A scratchy, high-pitched, whiny woman’s voice said.
“Perfectly, Xellis, all is going as planned. The Princesses of Heart in Llamiad are no longer going to have light in their heart for long. We are teaching them how to hate…” A cool male voice said. “Infact, I think we already have the red-headed brat of Londonia on our side, the poor girl has been through a bit of a trauma lately…”
“Good.” Xellis said, trying to sound sweet, but couldn’t pull it off. “And the others? Rahari? Leafpool? Gylfie? Laura?”
“Rahari is very close… Leafpool is not swaying, same with Gylfie… and it is very difficult to get to Laura Darktip…”
“Ah, yes. The little Castle Mage runt, her cousin, is probably making sure of that.”
“True, Xellis.”
“Yes. Xemnas, see to Rahari next. We need to infiltrate Llamiad Castle immediately… I can feel the power of the Three arriving… Especially since the one is a Chosen Wielder and a Princess of Heart…”
“Yes, Xellis.”
“And get me Werdnax and Haxcz… I have a little job for them…”
“Yes, Xellis.”

A/N: Wheeness. Chapter 2...
~Chapter 2: Llamiad Castle~
“IZZRA! LAURA! YOOHOO! I FOUND THEM! I FOUND THEM! YOU KNOW, THE IMBICILES THE QUEEN TALKED ABOUT WITH THE KEY-SWORD THINGS!” Shannon Purepaw said, bounding into the castle so excited she tripped over her own staff she was carrying.
“Watch who you’re calling imbeciles,” said Kairi, who gave a little giggle at when Shannon tripped, and still had a little mutinous look in her eyes.
“Aw, c’mon Kairi, be nice.” Sora said, “She said she was sorry she attacked you, can’t you let it go?” He said, Kairi still fuming. He turned to the mage-cat. “You okay, Shannon?”
“I’m fine,” Shannon said, getting up and dusting herself off “but my pride isn’t.” She mumbled. “Hey, where did the guy with the girly white hair go?”
“I think down the hall…” Kairi said, blinking, and brushed a loose strand of maroon hair out of her face.
“Well, come on then, we’ve got to find him.” Shannon said, with a faintest hint of a growl, she hated it when people didn’t follow rules or show loyalty. She raised her golden staff, which was curved at the end and had a large, glittering sapphire on it. “LAURA!” She cried, and the staff glowed for a moment.
Out of thin air appeared a white cat with black paws and a black-tipped tail. She was holding a glittering silver scepter with a large ruby on the tip of it, and wore a red bandana and cape which were red, adorned with silver. Quite the opposite of Shannon’s blue and gold witch’s hat and cape. Also, in the middle of her forehead was a red triangle with two circles at the side of it.
“What is it, cuzzie-wuzzie?” Laura said, swishing her tail, making her cape sway, using her annoying version of the word ‘cousin.’
“Go look for a guy with long white hair… Named Riku…” Shannon said exasperatedly. It was no surprise that Shannon though Laura was too hyper for her own personal good.
“Don’t have to. Princess Rahari found him; she’s oogling at him in the throne room.” Laura said, giggling hyperly. “That’s just as bad as when she dated Remius and she didn’t know he was actually her brother and-“ Laura looked at Sora and Kairi. “…These two are…?”
“Sora and Kairi, two of the four keys.” Shannon said promptly and Laura bowed. “Riku’s the third.”
“Who’s the fourth? You don’t have a fourth with you?” Laura said impatiently.
“Laura,” Shannon said, tail twitching in annoyance, “What have we always said? Introduce yourself before attempting to bother the guests, which you shouldn’t be doing at all.”
“Ooopsies.” Laura said sheepishly, and bowed again, the jewels which dangled from her bandana jingling noisily. “Laura Darktip of Duvalia, in which the Darktip family is known for being in the Duvalian Senate. Also, I am the heiress of the Darktip family rubies…” Laura said, and was about to ramble on about other unimportant things when Shannon gave her a warning look, “and Shannon’s cousin, and her apprentice in mageness.”
“You can shut up now.” Shannon said tartly, and Laura disappeared in a spoof of red glitter. She turned to Sora and Kairi, amber eyes glittering. “Now, for the throne room! The most important place in Llamiad Castle.”
“Uh… A slight question…” Kairi said, confused as she and Sora followed Shannon down a series of marble steps, “Why is it called Llamiad Castle besides the fact that we’re in the Llamiad Universe?”
“The first ruler and the builder of the castle was an albino Llama named Sarah… She had a husband named Bob.” Shannon said, as she unsheathed one claw and drew a little symbol into what seemed like a magic keypad on a door, “Which is what Sarah-Bob, our Queen, was named for.” A golden door with a Llama doorknocker opened after Shannon drew the little symbol. “But she’s not here right now.” She explained.
“Neither is our King, King Mickey…” Sora said, and suddenly realized this was his first adventure without Donald or Goofy, and felt sad for a moment.
“They’re probably plotting together…” Shannon said, and then let out a ‘mrrow’ of a laugh. “That didn’t come out right…”
Sora laughed and Kairi even giggled. “Too true.” Sora said as Kairi stuffed her fist in her mouth to prevent herself from having a giggle fit.
“Princess Rahari, you may quit clinging onto one of the Four now.” Shannon said as Rahari, an albino-black squirrel with rainbow-dyed hairfur clung to Riku’s leg.
“Do I haaaaaaaave to?” Rahari questioned and snubbed her nose up in the air.
“Yes, Rahari, do as the Castle Mage says, she’s one of our mother’s trusted advisors…” An albino llama said. He turned to Sora, Riku and Kairi. “I expect you have a lot of questions. I’ll try my best to answer them…”
***
“Werdnax… Haxcz…” Xellis said in an icily evil voice. “I have a little job for the two of you…”
“Yes, Queen Xellis of the 14th Organization.” They said unanimously, and very robotic-like.
“You know, we have finally determined the seven Princesses of Heart of Llamiad if I haven’t already told you.” Xellis explained, her voice cold, but trying to sound sweet. “Rahari of Llamiad Castle, Ginny Weasley of Londonia, Laura Darktip of Duvalia, Isadora Quagmire of Unfortunia, Leafpool of Warrioranda, Gylfie of Ga’Hoolia, and Ema Skye of Attorneya.” Xellis said quietly and continued on, “however, as our Organization’s name seems to state, seven is more powerful when doubled. Xemnas has gone to the Disney Lands to capture the six of the seven Princesses of Heart from there… However, the seventh one is currently residing in Llamiad. Her name is Kairi.” Xellis said, and finally got to the point of her explanation. “I want you to bring her to me, alive. She’s no use dead… yet…”
“Yes Queen Xellis.” Werdnax and Haxcz said, unanimously once again, and withdrew their Keyblades, and walked off.
“Fionax!” Xellis barked, impatiently.
“Yes, Queen Xellis?” A girl of seventeen with black hair and triangle glasses said, coming to the room.
Xellis drummed her fingers against the arm of her chair. “Do you have the Mind Massacring crystal ready?”
“Yes, Xellis.”
“The Nobody Separator?”
“Yes, Xellis.”
Xellis blinked, pleased. “Good. The sooner we get to Naminé, the better. Because the sooner we get to her… The sooner Sora will be gone forever.” She said, and with that, let out an evil cackle.
***
“So your Queen, Sarah-Bob, has a Keyblade too?” Sora said, trying to take all of this in.
“Yes.” Bob, Remius, and Rahari said simultaneously.
“Apparently there are two others that also have Keyblades in this world.” Izzra said, and did her little habit of adjusting her rainbow tailwarmer.
“Yes. Seven is the number with the most magical properties.” Shannon explained. “Which is why…”
“There are seven Princesses of Heart!” Kairi said, the explanation dawning on her.
“Yes. It is the reason of seven Princesses of Heart from each Universe… and the reason for seven Keyblade Masters… And Mistresses…” Shannon said, nearly forgetting that Kairi and Sarah-Bob had Keyblades. “There is one, slight problem… Though…”
“What?” Riku said, brushing his really, really long white hair out of his eyes.
“The 14th Organization, also known as Orgnaization 14, the Organization that Organization XIII copied its name from… Has the two other Keyblade wielders in their possession.” Remius said, sadly.
“Crap.” Sora said, and flexed his Keylbade through the air.
“More like shit.” Shannon said, poking the sapphire that swayed from her staff with a claw. “Anyway, Izzra is going to Kimptonia, which used to be the place where others from other worlds could come and meet in peace until it was taken over by the 14th Organization, to disguise herself as a Nobody or a Soulless… A Soulless is a Nobody with their mind fragmented and their heart torn… Another word for Soulless is Massacred…”
“You must avoid the 14th Organization at all costs… For…” Laura could barely cough it up, “They want to build an army of Soulless!”
***
“Donald, Goofy! Pull up on the steering wheel!” Mickey commanded, pointing his golden Keyblade at his two companions. “Queen Sarah-Bob, get up on the roof and knock the Heartless down, and hang on, we’re going to try and out fly them!”
“Yes, sir!” Sarah-Bob said, and jumped off onto the roof. She was wearing a 14th Organization cloak, which was alike of that of Organization XIII, except it was white. She jumped up on the roof, her ivory Keyblade severing the head of Heartless.
“We’re not going to make it!” Donald cried.
“Of course you’re not.” Said an icy voice.
Maleficent!

A/N: Chapter 3… oh em gees
Should I put this up on FFN, too maybe, when it is all finished? o.o
~Chapter 3: Friends~
“Sora! Kairi!” Rahari panted, running up to Sora, Kairi, and Riku. “Oooh, and Riku…” Rahari said, batting her over mascara’d squirrel eyelashes. “Miss Purepaw and Miss Darktip want you, they’re waiting in their Gummi Ship. You three are off to Duvalia.”
“Already?” Sora said, looking wistfully at Llamiad Castle. He had already begun to like the place.
“Yes already.” Rahari snapped, but flicked her rainbow-dyed tail side to side good naturedly. “Now go before Shannon claws your heads off because you’re late. Remius and Bob are going to kill me for being late for our morning meeting anyway and I’d hate to see anything happen to you three as well.” She said, and bounded up the stairway railing instead of using the actual stairs.
By the time Sora, Kairi and Riku got to the Llamiad Castle Gummi Hold, Shannon was tapping one foot with unsheathed claws against the ground impatiently, her amber eyes burning holes in the three of them.
“You three are late.” Shannon snapped, steepling her white paws together, her claws clinked metallically as she did so. She pointed to the ship, which was black, orange, and purple- Llamiad Castle’s colors. “Get in the back.”
“What?” Sora groaned as Riku and Kairi got into the back of the Gummi Ship with Laura Darktip. “I’m driving!”
“No, you’re not.” Shannon said icily, her tail poofing up to twice its size to show she was very annoyed. “Get in the back. Was it not you that was driving when you three crash landed?”
“Fine.” Sora said, having no further argument, and go into the back seat. Shannon smiled victoriously.
“Then off we go.” She said, grabbed the steering wheel, and set off on a course for her homeworld of Duvalia.
***
“Hello, Orlando Darkstorm.” Haxcz said, slowly. “We, I and Werdnax, have come to see Amourmortel Loveheart.” Haxcz said, and twirled the Ultima, while Werdnax sharpened Oblivion on one of the rocks on the castle walls.
“Hello,” Orlando Darkstorm, a handsome charcoal tabby with yellow eyes, wearing a tux bowed to Haxcz and Werdnax, “I will take you to the Lady Loveheart.”
He flicked his charcoal tail side to side to motion for Haxcz and Werdnax to follow. After following a series of dark, stone passageways, the two Nobodies and Duvalian cat came upon an albino she-cat, dressed in pink silk and diamonds.
“So these are the two who will get rid of the next High Magess and Duvalia’s Princess of Heart for me?” Amourmortel Loveheart said coldly, as if there had never been sweetness in her voice. Haczx and Werdnax nodded. “Good.” Amourmortel said, icily. “I do not work directly under Xellis, as you do, but I admire the work she does. You two are searching for a Kairi, no?” Amourmortel’s rose-red eyes sparkled. Hacxz and Werdnax nodded yet again. “Well, she will be coming here with, who I think, is the heir… and the Princess of Heart of Duvalia. Score for all of us. You bring back two Hearts to Xellis… And I become Queen, the High Magess, of Duvalia. Sounds good, no?” She finished, Haxcz and Werdnax, yet, once again, nodded.
“DARKSTORM!” Amourmortel barked suddenly, Orlando Darkstorm nearly jumped out of his skin. “Go find these five pitiful people… and befriend them… And lead them… to me…” She said slowly as if he could not comprehend all of this at once.
“Y-yes Lady Loveheart.” Orlando said, and scampered off nervously.
***
“I really don’t like her.” Muttered Kairi as she jabbed her thumb towards the front seat at Shannon, who was shooting down enemy ships contently.
“Aw…” Laura said, blinking her multi-colored eyes. “You can’t hate the Shanny-Boo!”
“I never said I hated her…” Kairi mumbled, sourly.
“True, she could be a bit nicer…” Sora mused aloud, but Riku shook his head of long, white hair.
“We don’t know everything about her…” He said quietly. Laura nodded.
“Yup. Have you ever wondered why she hates going to Duvalia, or why she doesn’t have a family mark on her head? It’s the reason she’s so spiteful.” Laura said, eager to tell the story. “In Duvalia, they have High-Borns and Low-Borns. The High-Borns are usually Duvalians in the Republic part of Duvalia, or have some connection to the Royal Palace. The High-Borns have their family symbol on their forehead.” Laura pointed to the triangle with two circles at either side of it on her forehead. “Some very well known High families are the Darktips… The Darkstorms… The Lovehearts… The Pureeyes…” She said, ticking some names off on her fingers. “Then there are the low-borns… No family marks on their foreheads…”
“Wait… Shannon doesn’t…” Sora said slowly, comprehension dawning on him.
“Correct. She left Duvalia at the age of five to find work… She was already an accomplished mage…” Laura said, solemnly. “She hasn’t been back to Duvalia since then.” Laura finished, and adjusted her cape with one black paw. “Besides, her bark is worse than her actual bite if you’re a friend.”
“I heard that last bit about the bite!” Shannon called from the front, although it wasn’t unkindly. She turned to face those in the back. “Hey, any of you want to drive?”
Everyone raised their hand. Shannon Purepaw blinked, and actually smiled. “You first, Kairi.” She said, adjusting her patched up hat. “Friends?”
“Friends.” Kairi said, and blinked her Lavendar eyes.
All was good.
For now.
***
Maleficent!
“Stand back before I burn you to the ground!” Spat Sarah-Bob, who pointed her ivory Keyblade at the evil witch of Heartless.
“What’s your plan this time, Maleficent?” Mickey said, bravely.
Maleficent smiled coolly, yet icily. “I actually need your help…”
“And why would we trust YOU?!?” Donald screeched. His voice was met from yowls of approval from Goofy and Sarah-Bob, but Mickey remained quiet.
“Well… True… I was going to take over your world…” Maleficent started and Donald let out something between a hiss, a snort and a hmph!, “Until Xemnas… The REAL Xemnas… took over mine…”
***
“Fionax! FIONAX!”
“Yes, Xellis?”
“Has she come?”
“Yes.”
“So now she is Ignnyx?”
“Yes.”
“Bring her here.”
“Yes, Xellis.”
Fionax walked off down the hall and came back with a girl only a bit younger than she, with red hair and icy brown eyes that showed no mercy.
“Ignnyx?”
“Yes, Queen Xellis?” The red head said robotically.
Xellis looked very pleased. “So the Mind Massacring machine works even on Princess of Heart?”
“Yes.” Fionax replied instantly.
“Good.” Xellis turned back to Ignnyx. “You ready for your first mission?”
“Yes.”
“Good. I sent two others, Haxcz and Werdnax to go after those three of the four fools. Malexficent is tricking the fourth of that universe and the first of ours… Your job is to find each Hero of the world… And kill them…”
“Yes, Xellis.”
“So you understand? Okay. Your first of the Seven Heroes is Orlando Darkstorm of Duvalia… I want you to bring him back to me… Dead.”
“Yes Xellis.” Ignnyx replied silkily and with a swish of red hair, stalked out of the room.

A/N: I’m baaaaaaaaaaaaack. :3
~Chapter 4: Darkness to Light~
“Seven heros?” Fionax said quietly from the corner.
“Yes… Darkstorm of Duvalia, Potter of Londonia, Klaus Baudelaire of Unfortunia, Coryn of Ga’Hoolia, Brambleclaw of Warrioranda, and Phoenix Wright of Attorneya.”
“But there’s seven… You named only six…” Fionax said, counting on her fingers.
“Yes… The final one… is Zach of Kimptonia… But he’s dead.” Xellis said with relish. Fionax pondered then it dawned on her.
“Oh! Haxcz!” She said, nodding.
“Good… Fionax… Now… go to Llamiad Castle… Their Queen, that pyromaniac Sarah-Bob is gone… Their Head Mage Purepaw is gone… Their Head Warrior Izzra is coming here… She’ll surely die… and that leaves the Queen’s three offspring. Bob, Remius, and Rahari… It is important we withdraw Aharrix from Rahari… Fionax, see to that.” Xellis nodded.
“Yes, Queen Xellis.” Fionax said and dipped into a low bow. “We shall massacre her.”
“I shall hope so.” Xellis said, evilly quiet.
***
“So, why are we here?” Sora asked Shannon as Kairi, Riku, and Laura followed behind as they walked through a conifer forest into the main Duvalian City.
“Well… I’m assuming you’re going to rid the world of Heartless, Nobodies and Soulless… Whatever they are…” Shannon said slowly, pondering. She looked up at Sora (for she only reached his waist with her Mage’s Hat on.) “But I’m here on a different mission.” She said defiantly.
“What is it?” Sora said inquisitively, blinking his cyan eyes and giving Shannon a lopsided smile. “What?”
“It’s not like I wasn’t going to tell you!” Shannon snapped good-naturedly. “I am looking for the next High Magess, the Duvalian Queen. Otherwise, Llamiad Castle will not have Duvalia as an ally when the time comes, as the Senate is ruling Duvalia right now… And most of them are quite cruel…” Shannon mused.
“What happened to the old High Magess?” Sora asked, the feeling of dread creeping upon him.
“Murdered.” Shannon said simply and withdrew her staff and tapped a stone wall with it, and a door opened. “Her name was Alexia Pureheart.” Shannon then turned her amber gaze on Sora, and she looked wiser and more tired out than Sora had ever seen her.
“What’s the matter, Shan?” He said quietly.
“…Alexia Pureheart… Looked EXACTLY like Laura Darktip!” She hissed and Sora glanced back at Laura, who was apparently sharing a good joke with Riku and Kairi. “Except for the mismatched eyes, and the red Darktip sign on her forehead, Laura is the exact match of Queen Alexia!”
“So the High Magess Alexia was a white cat with black paws… Huh.” Sora mused.
“Yup.” Shannon said. “She had amber eyes. Amber eyes are quite common in Duvalia.”
“So are you all… cats?” Kairi said, coming up along with Riku and Laura.
“Oh, no.” Laura piped up. “Duvalia is where people go when they are reborn as something else in the next life! We have talking furniture, talking plants, talking inanimate objects… and animals of course.”
“So… You’ve all died?” Kairi said, shocked.
“Yeah.” Shannon grumbled. “But don’t ask me how I died- or anybody else for that matter, we don’t know the full details.”
“The full details?” Riku said, puzzled.
“Yeah. We can only remember our last three seconds of life.” Laura said quietly. “I remember not breathing, and water flowing around me… I must’ve drowned…”
“Shannon?” Kairi said sadly to the black and white cat. “How do you remember?”
“I remember blood spattering the night, and one last gaping breath.” Shannon said, mock cheerfully. “Now that we’ve got that over with, can we PLEASE go into Duvalia now? I’ve had this door opened for ages.”
***
“Where are we going, Shannon? My feet… Er… paws… hurt…” Laura complained. Kairi stuffed her fist in her mouth to prevent herself from giggling.
“Surely you remember Alex Nightpaw?” Shannon snorted, annoyed that her apprentice would forget such a thing.
“Alex Nightpaw?” Sora said confused while Riku looked over at the far side of the Duvalian City where the castle was.
“My mentor… One of Queen Alexia Pureheart’s most loyal subjects too… Until she died and the Senate threw him out…” Shannon said, quickly, as she looked left to right. “C’mon…” She hissed urgently.
“Where are we going?” Kairi said, but Laura ‘Shhhed!’ her.
“I’m not supposed to be in the Duvalian City…” Shannon said, but there was a mischievous smile on her face. “Only High-Borns are allowed in here now. Low-Borns are forced to live on the outskirts…”
“That’s terrible.” Muttered Riku, brushing silvery hair out of his ice blue eyes looking for other that might spot them as intruders.
Suddenly, Shannon let out a hiss. “HEARTLESS!” And withdrew her staff. “Maximus Extremus!” She cried, and in one huge flash of blinding white light, the Heartless dematerialized, but Shannon crashed to the ground.
“Eeeep! Shanny-Boo!” Laura ran over to her cousin. “What have I told you about using that spell? You haven’t even perfected it!”
“What was that?” Riku questioned. He was still slightly afraid of the light.
“Maximus Extremus.” Shannon said, picking herself off the ground and dusting herself off. “I learned it from the Londonians. Even though Duvalia first created magic, the Londonians have more complex spells.” She said, white-tipped tail twitching. Her amber eyes widened as she noted something floating, a Nobody, above Sora and Kairi’s heads. “Look out!”
Suddenly a figured robed in black shot out and pierced the Nobody in the chest with a wooden staff. He was a black and golden wolf-like creature with maroon eyes, and seemed quite wise, as Shannon and Laura immediately bowed.
“Alex Nightpaw.” They said simultaneously while Sora, Kairi and Riku looked as if they were missing something.
Alex turned to Sora, Kairi and Riku. “Ah. Three of the Seven Wielders.” His eyes seemed to look through the three of them and nodded once again.
“Come, follow me. I have to teach you something.” Alex said in a low voice, and the six friends followed the wise wolf through the other side of the Duvalian City into the lush forest.
***
“With our mother gone,” Bob started, “and as I am the oldest…”
“Wait, wait.” Remius said, trying to keep a calm tone. “You don’t know that. We have the same birthday.”
“But I’m a LLAMA.” Bob said, trying to keep a calm tone to his voice. “And this is LLAMIAD Castle.”
“But the Queen is a SQUIRREL.” Remius argued. Rahari began to cry.
“I-i-i-it’s not f-f-f-fair!” She sobbed. “JUST because you’re the OLDEST doesn’t mean you can rule the castle! Since our mom is the QUUEN, I should be Queen!” Rahari said, and before either of her brothers replied, she stormed out of the room, and promptly ran into a white-cloaked figure.
“Hello, sweetie.” Cooed the girl of age sixteen, with black hair and triangle glasses.
“W-who are you?” Rahari said, wiping her tears away.
“I am Fionax… You can call me Fiona, dear.” She said sickeningly sweet.
“W-will you help me?” Rahari said, her rainbow tail twitching from side to side, and Fionax “Fiona” nodded.
“Of course. Come to Kimptonia with me.” Fionax said, and Rahari nodded, and the two disappeared into darkness.
***
“Darkstorm.” Haxcz said, unemotionally. “Take us to the palace. You say there is a prophecy? About the next High Magess?”
“Yes…” Orlando said slowly as he noted Werdnax sharpening a swiss army knife on his Keyblade. “But it is not in the palace… Alex Nightpaw has it… And Lady Amour would kill me with her bare hands if I went there…” He said, pondering, and his yellow eyes glowed, and he smiled. “Which means, of course, we have to go there. And, perhaps, with luck, the person you’re searching, Kairi, wasn’t it? Will be there too.” He said, and the three left the dungeons of the Duvalian Castle.
***
“I’m not trusting you, Maleficent.” Sarah-Bob growled, and lit the end of her Keyblade using a Firaga spell.
“Wait-“ Mickey motioned for Queen Sarah-Bob to stop. “There’s another Xemnas?”
“Yes… Xehanort copied everything off of him.” Maleficent said, sniffing disdainfully. “And I need to tell you something… All the worlds in this universe have their royalty restored… Except for Radiant Garden…”
“Radiant Garden? You mean Hollow Bastion?” The King said, questioningly.
“Yes… I suggest you find their Queen, or else it will be vulnerable to Xemnas’s attack… You have one week…” Maleficent said, and disappeared in a flash of green and black fire.
***
“Xellis?” Fionax said to the Queen of the 14th Organization. “I now bring you Aharrix.”
Rahari was now cloaked in what Sora and his friends would recognize as what looked like an Organization 13 cape, but white. She dipped her head. “Hello, Xellis.”
“Hello Rahari… Or, as now you are called… Aharrix.” Xellis said, in that oozingly sweet, evil voice. Go back to your castle. Make sure that Bob and Remius do not become kings.”
“Yes, Xellis.”
***
The five friends and Alex Nightpaw continued to walk through the forest, nobody uttering a single sound, although Laura looked like this was a great difficulty. Sora felt an uneasiness creep over him, as the forest kept getting darker and darker.
“Uh… Alex…” He started, but Shannon let out a hiss.
“Master Nightpaw.” She muttered under her breath.
“Er, Master Nightpaw, where are we going?” Sora questioned as he glanced behind to make sure Kairi, Riku and Laura were following.
“Not back to my hut. I sense a danger there.” Alex said slowly, maroon eyes seemingly searching for something. He then, apparently, found it, as he tapped the wooden staff he held against a solid boulder and started murmuring some words in a different language.
“Then… Where are we going?” Kairi inquired, as she and the rest of the gang caught up with Sora and Shannon.
“To this cave.” Alex said, as some rock dematerialized right before their eyes and left an opening to a cave full of glowing crystals inside. “Come.”
***
“It doesn’t look like Nightpaw and the others are at his hut.” Orlando Darkstorm reported to Werdnax and Haxcz, yellow eyes looking hopeful, because normally he would get clawed for this kind of news.
“Dammit.” Haxcz said. Werdnax nodded.
“Where could they be?” Werdnax said, speaking for the first time in Orlando’s presence.
“Well… There is this crystal cave…” Orlando started, and Haxcz and Werdnax promptly dragged him off for him to show them the spot.
***
Snap! went a twig behind the group as they began to file into the cave. Shannon let out a hiss and her tail poofed up to twice its usual size.
“Something’s following us.” She said, amber eyes glowing with maliciousness, especially at the thought of beating up some Heartless or Nobodies. “I’ll go see what it is, you guys stay here.”
“There’s no need for you to see what it is, or really, who it is, Miss Purepaw.” Orlando Darkstorm said coolly, stepping out of the shadows of the trees, his yellow eyes glowing. “I’d never think I’d see you again.”
Laura Darktip let out a growl and a hiss, and stepped forward clutching her silver scepter, her mismatched eyes spitting fire. “It’s a good thing we haven’t seen you again, because you would be dead.”
“Ah, Miss Darktip, can’t we go back to the way things used to be?” Orlando said, keeping a calm and collected tone of voice, his yellow eyes pleading.
“Never, not with you, traitor!” Laura yowled, and Shannon let out another hiss.
“What’s going on?” Kairi whispered, and Alex Nightpaw nodded and replied.
“They used to be quite the best friends, Purepaw, Darktip and Darkstorm.” Alex said, his wolf tail swishing side to side. “Miss Darktip and Mister Darkstorm probably could have been even more than that.” He added with a chuckle. “But then when Shannon Purepaw was driven out of Duvalia, Laura, of course, sided with her cousin’s argument, and Orlando Darkstorm sided with Amourmortel Loveheart, who is rally anything but loving, quite the contrary, she’s rather nasty.” Alex said, solemnly. “I think this is the first time the three have seen each other since then.”
“Then let’s fight them!” Sora said eagerly but Alex blocked his way with his staff.
“This is their fight, for now. I have a feeling you will join soon enough.” He said, while Sora let out a defeated sigh and Riku chuckled.
“Well, if Amour doesn’t kill you by the time she’s done with you, we will!” Shannon said, eyes blazing fury. “C’mon Laura, let’s get this freak!”
Shannon and Laura then charged at Orlando who nimbly avoided them, but promptly crashed into a tree as Shannon and Laura set him on fire.
“That was… Easy…” Kairi said slowly.
“Not, it’s not.” Werdnax said, and threw his black and red Keyblade at Shannon and Laura, and all the wind was knocked out of them as the Key collided with them and sent them sailing into the cave. The Keyblade then returned to Werdnax like a boomerang.
“Not so easy, huh?” He said, menacingly, and twirled his blade. “C’mon, Haxcz, you get Kairi-whatshername to please Xellis, I’ll get these other three lumps, and we’re outta here.” He said as Haxcz also came out of the forest, and Sora and Riku held their Keyblades out in front, ready to fight. Wednax began to whisper to Haxcz, “Okay, you knockout the girl, I get the other three and-“ Werdnax paused to look at Haxcz. “You okay?”
Haxcz was really not okay in a mental sense. He was staring at Kairi, his jaw dropped as far as it could go. He tried to reply to Werdnax but only a gurgling noise came out.
“Yoohoo, Haxcz…” Werdnax said, waving his hand in front of his fellow Organizaton 14 member’s face. Werdnax turned back to Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Alex Nightpaw. “Can you wait for just ONE moment? My partner here is… Being goofy…” Werdnax turned back to Haxcz as the four raised their eyebrows. “C’mon, Haxcz, you’re acting like the time you got a hold of Xaslexi’s crack… And that’s no good…”
Haxcz was still staring at Kairi, and in reply to Werdnax, he again let out a faint gurgling noise.
“Well, as long as they don’t attack us in time for us to think of something, that’s okay.” Kairi said, brightly, waving her flowered Keyblade side to side.
“Kairi, if you haven’t noticed, they’re not attacking because the one, Haxcz, is oogling at you.” Riku said, flatly.
Don’t look jealous… Don’t look jealous… She wouldn’t like Haxcz anyway… Sora thought to himself, and Kairi raised one eyebrow.
“Are you feeling okay, Sora? You’re pulling some very weird faces…” She said, concerned. Sora shook his head of spiky blonde hair.
“I’m fine.” He said. Dammit. He thought.
Haxcz was finally brought out of his reverie by Werdnax hitting him on the head with his Keyblade.
“Uhm. Werdnax, we can’t attack her! Er… Them! And we can’t bring them to Xellis!” Haxcz said, attempting a noble pose but looking rather stupid.
“The hell?” Werdnax said, appalled. “Did I hit you too hard on the head?!”
“I don’t think so.” Haxcz said, and paused to think.
“I did.” Werdnax said, definitely.
“Hey… Uh… Don’t you guys work for Organization 14, if you’re trying to kidnap us?” Sora said slowly.
“Yes.” Haxcz said quickly. “But we’re not anymore. We’ve seen the error of our ways.” He said as Werdnax dropped his Keyblade in surprise.
“HAXCZ?!” Werdnax said, his eyes wide. “ARE YOU MAD?! XELLIS IS GOING TO KILL US!”
Riku looked wearily at them and turned to his friends and Alex Nightpaw. “I don’t trust them.”
“I do.” Kairi said, cheerfully. “They would have attacked us by now.”
“It could be a trap.” Sora said, throwing a mutinous glance at Haxcz.
“Try and get some information out of them.” Said an unexpected voice which was Shannon Purepaw’s. She was dragging Laura along with her.
“You two have become conscious again.” Nightpaw said, nodding.
“No way.” Shannon said, sarcastically.
“Well,” Haxcz began overhearing their conversation. “We’ll tell you everything.”
“We will?” Werdnax said, and was hit in the head by Haxcz with his Keyblade.
“Yes.” Haxcz said, but then Laura’s jaw dropped.
“Shanny-Boo! They both have Keyblades! We’ve found all seven!” Laura said, jumping up and down. “That’s Sora, Riku, Kairi, their King, Queen Sarah-Bob, Haxcz, and Werdnax!”
“Oh… my god…” Shannon said, and Sora, Riku, and Kairi also looked amazed. “You two have a lot of explaining to do!”

A/N: I have had to cut ch 5 into a couple pieces, because of its length. TT.TT Damn posting limit.
~Chapter 5: Heavenia and Hellana~
Ignnyx looked around the Duvalian City, What an odd place… She mused to herself, The recarnations of people come here… Ignnyx’s milk brown eyes then laid upon the Castle, where Amourmortel, the one she was to help, was.
When she at last, entered the castle and got past the two guards, Freddi and Ferdinand, (Freddi a butterfly and Ferdinand a moth, Ignnyx could simply not see why that they were castle guards when they could barely lift their spears), she heard a silky purr of a voice, and turned to where the noise came from: It was Lady Amourmortel Loveheart.
“Ahhh… Ignnyx… What a pleasure… Haxcz and Werdnax have already come to see me… You have orders from Xellis, no doubt?” Amourmortel said, in her deathly calm tone.
“Yes.” Ignnyx said, looking down at the albino cat. “Although it concerns your partner, an Orlando Darkstorm…” Ignnyx started, and Lady Amour looked rather interested and sat up, taking in all of what Ignnyx had to say.
“Ah… I see… So Orly has a good heart, even though he’s working for me?” Amour purred softly to herself. “That just won’t do.” She turned her reddish-pink gaze on Ignnyx. “Do not worry, return to Xellis. I will make sure Orly dearest perishes.” She cackled, and Ignnyx smiled, and disappeared.
Orlando Darkstorm, who had recovered, in time, from Shannon and Laura’s fire attack was listening behind the corner, drinking in every word. As Amourmortel began to laugh, Orlando ran down the hallway and out of the Castle.
I have to find Laura. She’ll understand, she was always the nicest of the group… He thought as he made his way to the forest. Or, at least, I still hope she is.
***
“So you were sent here… To kidnap… Me?” Kairi said, sadly. Haxcz and Werdnax nodded.
“Wouldn’t be the first time someone’s tried that.” Sora muttered under his breath. Shannon heard him and snorted to suppress her laughter.
“Someone’s jeeealous of Haaaaaaxcz.” Shannon drawled out to Sora and blinked her amber eyes which were sparkling with amusement. Sora blushed crimson.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about…” He mumbled.
“Of course I don’t. And Laura still has her virginity.” Shannon said sarcastically. Laura snarled good-naturedly and attempted to hit her cousin on the head.
“Just because you and Orlando put your pet Sea Monkey on me while I was sleeping on the couch does NOT mean I slept with it.” Laura said indignantly, her different colored eyes showing annoyance and lightheartedness, but then put a finger to her lips to silence Shannon and Sora.
“Yeah… I know, seeing as we were only nine at the time, it was funny to see the Sea Monkey ON you… Although now that I think back on it, it did look rather wrong…” Shannon murmured to herself, and Sora had to use Kairi’s tactic of sticking-the-fist-in-the-mouth-so-you-don’t-burst-out-laughing.
“We actually don’t know most of Xellis’s plans… She’s the leader of Organization 14… She only shares her plans with her two most trusted members and her husband… Also known as her ‘roommate’… They are Fionax, Xaslexia, and Xemnas.” Werdnax said, and brushed a couple blue-haired bangs away from his eyes.
“XEMNAS?!” Sora and Riku screamed, simultaneously. Kairi just looked shocked.
Xemnas was Xehanort’s Nobody, and was the infamous leader of Organization 13. Sora had defeated Ansem, Xehanort’s Heartless, and then two years later, defeated Xemnas, Xehanort’s Nobody.
“But we defeated his Nobody and his Heartless!” Sora protested, and shook his head, his gravity defying hair swaying side to side slightly. “Unless…”
“His Soulless.” Kairi said suddenly. “The Xemnas here is Xehanort’s Soulless.”
“Correct.” Haxcz said, and had a look that was all for Kairi. Sora rolled his eyes.
“That explains a lot…” Alex said, quietly.
There was a long, eerie silence between the eight friends that was broken only by a twig snapping and leaves crunching under one’s feet.
“What was that?” Kairi said, slightly frightened, and clung to Sora’s left arm (in which Haxcz then looked like he might just murder Sora right then and there.)
“Me.” Said Orlando Darkstorm, stepping out of the shadowy forest. Shannon and Laura moved their way out to the front of their group of friends.
“We’ll beat you up again, Orlando.” Shannon snarled fiercely, but Laura wasn’t actually thinking of fighting as seen in the great sorrow in her eyes, and Shannon saw that as soon as she snarled out her threat. Lowering her mage’s staff, Shannon’s amber eyes blinked inquiringly. “What do you want?”
“I want to say a couple things… Amourmortel… has actually been working against me; I just found that out…” Orlando cleared his throat and went on. “…So I would like to join you… The second thing I want to say is… Shannon… Laura… I am so sorry…” He lowered his furry black head solemnly.
“Well…” Riku said slowly, “I think it would be great if you helped us, but… We need proof that you’re on the good side.”
Orlando nodded, and blinked his golden eyes. “But what have I to gain? I just walked into a clearing where eight people want to obviously kill me, for one; for two, if I was with Amour, I would be dragging you all back to the Duvalian Castle.” He sighed. “I know it’s not enough to convince you, but I will tell you what information I do know. Amourmortel has been working with Xellis in the hope that Xellis will help Amour become the Queen of Duvalia.”
“No.” Said an unexpected voice suddenly, it was Laura’s. Her one amber and one ice blue eye burning with ferocity, and her voice cold, her posture rigid, the expression of sorrow was no more. “I don’t believe you, not a word of it.”
“What is she saying?” Werdnax hissed. “He could have been of use.”
“Although for the time we’ve known them, we haven’t seen Laura get like this…” Kairi said quietly (and had let go of Sora’s arm when Orlando came, much to Haxcz’s pleasure.) (And Sora’s displeasure.)
Orlando, though, showed no indifference. He merely bowed, and blinked his yellow eyes, which did not meet Laura’s. “I see. You may believe that... All I wanted to do was help…” He turned his back on them and started walking back into the forest. “…If you need me, I’ll be in the forest, as I cannot go back to the castle…” He murmured as he melted back into the shadows of the wood.
“Traitor.” Spat Laura angrily and stalked off into cave.
Shannon looked after her upset cousin sadly. “I’ll go get her.”
“We all will, we need to go into the cave anyway… We have gotten quite sidetracked…” Alex said wearily and led the group into the darkened crystal cave.
***
“I have returned, Xellis.” Ignnyx said softly and bowed to her Queen, her flaming red hair flopping forward.
“Ah, Ignnyx. Good…” Xellis said, but her tone suggested it was anything but good. “You are back early. Are Laura Darktip, Orlando Darkstorm, and Shannon Purepaw dead? Did you hear of Haxcz and Werdnax’s progress of getting Kairi?”
“Well…” Ignnyx began slowly, “…Darktip, Darkstorm and Purepaw are not dead, but Amourmortel is going to take care of them…” She said, and for the first time, her voice quivered, and Xellis hissed softly.
“You trust Miss Loveheart with that important job?” Xellis said, in a cold tone.
“Y-yes…” Ignnyz said, faltering, her eyes showing, perhaps, an emotion? Fear? “…And I haven’t heard from Haxcz or Werdnax… maybe they are having trouble? They are outnumbered…”
“Maybe.” Xellis said, uncertainly, and turned her cold eyes on Ignnyx. “From now on, Ignnyx, until you can carry out your duties perfectly, you have some low jobs right now. Fetch me Fionax, Xaslexia, and Xemnas, and then chase that Izzra out of the Kimptonian Castle, but do not kill her, just send her back to Llamiad… I want to have her watch her world destroyed…”
“Yes… Xellis…” Ignnyx said, head drooping dejectedly.
***
Izzra padded around outside of Kimptonia, wearing one of the 14th Organization’s white cloaks with gold chains, her rainbow legwarmers gone. In her one paw, she clutched a sword, and the other, a shield, bearing the Llamiad Crest. A sense of dread wallowed in the pit of her stomach, the Royal Siblings were fighting over the crown, but Izzra had no time to explain the possibilities that Queen Sarah-Bob might return, as she had to sneak into the 14th Organization’s Castle, and the journey to Kimptonia was hard enough.
Izzra pawed the ground with her left foot, there was no easy entrance, Xellis had the best security around, not to mention the fact that she might, perhaps, have one lower member of Organization 14 and some Nobodies or Soulless lurking around. Izzra shuddered. She was never as tough as the Queen or Miss Purepaw. Oh, how she longed for the Castle to be the way it used to be. Izzra, Shannon, and the Queen, joking around as if there were no tomorrow… The Queen always had this bad habit of being a pyromaniac… Izzra had to stifle a giggle. What is the matter with me?! Izzra thought angrily to herself. It’s like I’m looking back at my life right now… Like I’m going to die… Izzra clutched her sword and snaked stealthily in-between trees. Am I going to die?
Suddenly, a foot stomped down on Izzra’s ringed tail, and she let out a howl and slashed at her attacker, it was Ignnyx, now sporting a lovely red gash that was spurting and oozing red, thick liquid from her face, and was letting out a scream of anguish on her own. That’s gonna scar. Thought the warrior raccoon. Izzra felt bad- she hated being the Castle Warrior, she was too soft for it. Izzra bowed. “My humblest apologies…” She said, and then looked carefully at Ignnyx, who had, now, ceased her cries and fainted.
“Holy shit.” Izzra said aloud, as she recognized Ignnyx. Ignnyx looked a helluva lot like one of the members of a group- Dumbledore’s Army of Londonia, that had come to visit Llamiad Castle to speak to Queen Sarah-Bob about the growing threat of Xellis.
Maaaybe… Wait… No… YES. Izzra thought. This girl HAD to be a Londonian, Izzra could practically feel the magic tingling on her paw fur as she accidentally stepped in a little pool of blood. Izzra had no time to waste- screw the Queen’s mission. Izzra thought, and wiped her blade on the grass, and healed Ignnyx’s slash across her face with the only spell she knew, Cure, although being unskilled, it only stemmed the flow of blood. I have to get Prince Bob, Prince Remius, and Princess Rahari to come with me to find the Queen. If others from other worlds have been turned into Nobodies or Soulless- we gotta figure out before Xellis infiltrates anymore worlds- especially Llamiad Castle- with a Soulless or Nobody of her own. Propping Ignnyx up against a tree, Izzra scampered off to the Gummi Ship where she had parked it in a large ditch.
***
Aharrix licked her dry lips, and looked at her ‘brothers’ Bob and Remius as if they were an interesting television program. Her eyes flashed red, then back to their normal light pink, hence her being an albino. Her rainbow tail fluffed up and she waved it side to side, as her brothers argued over the throne.
“I am the oldest, and the only llama… you two are insufficient squirrels.” Bob said, snootily, and slammed his hoof against the table. Remius looked infuriated.
“Our mother is a squirrel, for your info…” Remius said, and adjusted his baseball hat, which said ‘Kimptonia Cougars’ on it in gold, against a backround of maroon, and had a cougar eating a baseball as the logo, and then looked at Bob, with a malicious grin on his face. “But then again, you’re adopted…”
“Oh, you SO didn’t!” Bob said, and tackled Remius to the ground, and Remius punched Bob in the snout, and blood gushed out of the llama’s nose. Enraged, Bob stomped on Remius’s foot, and a cracking noise was heard as Remius screeched in pain. Amidst the fighting however, Aharrix was sitting there tranquil and calm.
“You imbeciles.” Aharrix said, and blinked, and her pink eyes became a fiery red once more. “You can’t be the rulers of Llamiad Castle…”
Bob and Remius looked at their sister, and as Bob wiped the blood that was still seeping from his nose, Remius questioned his sister. “Rahari… You feeling okay…? Your eyes… They look a little funny…”
“Rahari, my dear brother… Is no more…” Aharrix said coolly, her eyes still glowing red, and were unblinking. “This is the time of Queen Aharrix, ruler of the Llamiad Castle!” And with that cackle, using powers of telekinesis no doubt granted to her by Xellis, Aharrix sent Bob and Remius smashing through the castle walls, and hurtling down into the dungeon, her laughter echoing throughout the building.
***
“Fionax. Xaslexia. Xemnas.” Xellis said, looking from the triangled-eyed girl, to a girl with skin as white as paper, raven black hair, and red eyes, to Xemnas, his white hair falling in his face over his red-orange eyes. “You might wonder why I have called you here today… Well, to be frank, we need to speed up the process of contaminating the worlds with Soulless.”
Xellis paused for effect and then continued on. “It is just as I thought, as Haxcz and Werdnax have not come back yet, they have undoubtedly switched over to the other side… Maybe that fool Haxcz will have already realized his greatest secret… And his greatest weakness… Which only means we have to speed up what we are doing… Malexficent is going to tell the King Mickey and the Queen Sarah-Bob and their pitiful lackeys that she is the real Maleficent… But, if Maleficent is as shrewd as they say, she has already warned them, which means, then, Xaslexia, I have a job for you… and your special powers…” Xellis smiled at what WAS a girl, but now a black cat with red eyes sitting on the floor in front of her. “You are to get Malexficent and use your clairvoyance to see if Maleficent will be at a vulnerable spot… And there you are to kill her… You are also to use your shapeshifting, and your magic, dear Xaslexia… To withdraw Roxas and Naminé from Sora and Kairi… and get them to join us. Fionax, no doubt, has taught you how to persuade, think of something, anything, to get them here.” The cat nodded, and turned into a tiny black sparrow with red eyes and flew off, twittering.
“Fionax… You are to continue getting the Seven Princesses of Heart of Llamiad to join us… But I need you to do something else first… Find Urkix… He is probably wandering around somewhere in the Disney Universe, perhaps what is left of The World That Never Was… Although now I hear it is nothing more than what is left of Naught’s Skyway… But try and find him, he is, and has to be, there… As he probably left Hollow Bastion, now Radiant Garden, because of his appearance… Then come back and continue what you are doing.” Xellis said, and Fionax nodded, and Xellis called after her, “oh, and when you find Ignnyx, no doubt beaten up by that raccoon of Sarah-Bob’s, tell her to come here.” Fionax gave a slight nod and walked off towards the door.
“Now… Xemnas, darling…” Xellis said, and her gaunt eyes met Xemnas’s orange ones. “…I have a very special job for you, my dear.” Said Xellis, putting an emphasis on the word ‘special’. “Find Zexion. I have a feeling the brat is still alive and well… There is no true proof that he was killed, so you might as well find him… As he is, one of the last living members of the Organization Thirteen… Excluding that Roxas… Also, release those Chaser Soulless… And send them after the Seven Wielders… Yes… Including Haxcz and Werdnax… I believe they are no longer with us. Also… Make sure that none of the Seven go to Llamiad Castle next… Aharrix shall not fail, as the heart of Llamiad Universe is almost ours.” Xellis said triumphantly, and Xemnas nodded, and walked off.
***
“Plot a course for Radiant Garden, Sarah. You don’t mind if I call you Sarah?” Mickey said to Sarah-Bob, who was fiddling with the controls after Maleficent had given them their dire warning about Hollow Bastion’s/Radiant Garden’s need of a Queen.
“Will do. And I don’t mind, just don’t call me Bob. That’s my son’s name.” Sarah-Bob said, slinging her ivory Keyblade (which she had named Immortal Ivory), over her shoulder as she plotted a course. She turned her magenta (yes, magenta), gaze on Goofy and Donald. “Make sure no Heartless, Nobodies, or Soulless ambush the ship.”
“Yes, Queen Sarah-Bob!” Goofy saluted as Donald let out a squawk.
“It’s Maleficent!” He cried, jumping up and down as green flames appeared and began to take the shape of the Mistress of the Heartless.
“Again? What the hell does she want THIS time?” Queen Sarah-Bob said, and used a bit of magic to light the end of her Keyblade with fire.
“Maybe she forgot some information…” King Mickey said, although he sounded slightly doubtful.
The green flames then took shape of Maleficent, but she somehow, seemed, in a way, different. Her eyes had ten times the malevolence, and there seemed to be an aura of eeriness and misfortune about her.
“Maleficent, what do you want this time?” Donald said, quickly and angrily, which made his speech even harder to understand.
“This time?” The ‘Maleficent’ said questioningly, and then pulled an evil smile. “So Xellis WAS right… Maleficent got here before me… In that case… I’ll have to work with Plan B…”
“Maleficent got here before you?” Goofy said, perplexed from behind his shield. “But aren’t YOU Maleficent?”
The ‘Maleficent’ pulled another twisted, sickening grin. “No, my dear Goofy… I am Malexficent. Seventh member of Organization Fourteen… And seven is the most powerful number…” Malexficent wheezed. “I see I have no choice. Goodbye, Goofy. Goodbye, Donald. Goodbye… Your Majesties…” Malexficent snapped her fingers, and then in three seconds later, green flames engulfed her, and she was gone.
“Organization 14, huh?” Mickey said, wonderingly. “I thought the Chasers were only after Sora, Riku and Kairi… Guess they must be looking for the other Seven Wielders…”
“Chasers? Huh? Did you not tell us everything?” Donald said, about to throw one of his infamous temper tantrums.
Sarah-Bob looked at the Angry!Donald and hastily explained. “Chasers are another name for the members of Organization Fourteen… They don’t Chase, in other words, hunt down those with Keyblades as much as they used to, in fact, I hear they even have special Chaser Soulless doing that for them now…”
“H’yuck?” Goofy interjected the albino squirrel Queen. “Hunt down those with Keyblades? But I thought there were only seven people with strong enough hearts to have Keyblades…”
Sarah-Bob shook her head, and flattened her ears against her head, and looked around as if someone might be eavesdropping. “No… A long time ago… Many people, many, many people… From both the Disney Universe and the Llamiad Universe, and perhaps many other universes out there, had hearts, good and bad, that were strong enough to have Keyblades.” Sarah-Bob said, quietly. Mickey nodded, and motioned for her to continue as Donald and Goofy listened eagerly. “…However, as I said, both good and the bad could be a Wielder. Soon, fights broke out… The Good Wielders put together their own world; a world of worlds, each part of the world they created had something from each world the Good Wielders had lived on… They could have, perhaps, the Hall of the Cornerstone from Disney Castle… Maybe First District of Traverse Town… The Bailey of Radiant Garden, the Dark Forest of Duvalia… all in one world, along with other little places from many other worlds… Put together, the Good Wielders called the world Heavenia.”
Sarah-Bob said, then paused for a moment, swished her white tail side to side, and continued on. “The Bad Wielders, however, had created a world too, and they were the first Chasers. A world, a graveyard of Keyblades, or those whose strong hearths they had belittled, and taken captive. It is nothing more than a large, wide open desert with a couple canyons… The heat there is unbearable… It resides under the world of Heavenia… The Bad Wielders call it Hellana.” Sarah-Bob said with a grave tone to her voice, for one moment, she looked old, wise, and battle worn, but quickly regained her composure. “The worlds fought, and wrought havoc upon those other worlds, as Heavenia and Hellana existed not in any universe, but on the border of the Disney Universe and the Llamiad Universe. Soon enough, the Good Wielders won, but knew Darkness could not be hidden forever, as where there is Light, there is Darkness.” Sarah-Bob said, and blinked her alluring magenta eyes. “The Good Wielders then picked Seven Descendants, who from then on would always pick Seven Descendants when they themselves found that they could no longer go on… They call that an Awakening, and you know you have been Awakened when you visit the space that resides between Heavenia and Hellana… Also known as Deep Dive… The world of Darkness… Only lit up by platforms in which you must climb to prove yourself… Many Chosen Ones at first think it is just a dream… But, it actually does happen… They call it Birth By Sleep.” Sarah-Bob said, and took a deep sigh. “If what I have read about this is true, then what happened in the Last Keyblade War, the war that ended the reign of Hellana, will probably happen again, and that is-”
“King Mickey! Queen Sarah-Bob! Captain Goofy! Mage Donald!” Chip and Dale cried simultaneously, sounding quite frantic, coming out from the back of the Gummi Ship. “Something’s wrong with the engine! It’s burst into green flames! The inside of the Gummi Ship is already half melted!”
“Malexficent!” King Mickey cried, slamming his gloved fist down on the dashboard. “She must have done that!” As he said this, the ship swerved dangerously, and without a moment’s notice, began to spiral downwards, Donald screeching, Sarah-Bob screaming, Goofy shouting, and Mickey trying to adjust the controls. But still, they went down…
Down…

A/N: Yay. More chappieness.
Note: When Alex Nightpaw says ‘Little’ in front of Shannon’s, Orly’s and Laura’s last names, that’s because he’s mentored them at one point. He mentored Shannon first, then when she left, Orly, and then began to mentor Laura but was then banned from the Duvalian City, so he then sent Laura off to Llamiad Castle to be mentored by Shannon, and she has been there for a week pre-prologue. :3 Just an fyi.
Speaking of her, here’s a piccu of her later on in this chapter. X3
www.deviantart.com/view/32517655/~Chapter 6: The Queen of Duvalia~ “What is this place?” Sora inquired as the group traveled into the cold, dark cave, which was lit only by the glowing crystals on the wall, and the light that came from Alex’s crystal on his wooden staff, Shannon’s sapphire on the end of her staff, and the ruby on the end of Laura’s scepter. “The Hall of Prophecy. Each High Magess of Duvalia leaves a Prophecy here for those to seek about who is the next rightful Queen of Duvalia, they receive the Prophecy, clear as day, in their minds, as soon as the Duvalian Coronet touches their head during the time of Coronation, and a crystal appears here to represent that Prophecy. Some Queens are related to each other, some are not.” Alex Nightpaw said, quietly, and tapped one large rock with his staff, which opened another passage that traveled deeper down into the cave. “The newest prophecy is always the crystal as blue as a Duvalian Sapphire, the most common gemstone in Duvalia that has astounding magical properties,” He said, and gestured to the end of his staff and the end of Shannon’s “and is used in most staffs. Including the High Magess’s, which is locked up in the Duvalian Castle.” He paused for a moment, silver eyes searching the wall as they reached the end of the tunnel. “Here it is.” “That’s it?” Sora said, pointing to a glowing, cerulean blue rock on the back wall. Shannon shoved her way to the front of the group and looked astounded at the little gem. “Queen Alexia Pureheart’s prophecy!” Shannon said, and let out a joyful mew like she was a little kitten, ran up, and yanked the gem right out of its socket in the wall. Everybody except Laura and Alex looked at her like she had just done a great wrong. “Uhm. Shannon? …You just pulled the crystal out of the wall…” Riku said slowly, giving the short cat mage a confused look. “We put it back once it is solved. Then it isn’t blue anymore, it’s white like the others.” Shannon explained, and tapped the blue gem with one claw. “Uh, Master Nightpaw… What do we do with this thing? I mean, get the prophecy out…” “That is your job, Little Purepaw. You must figure it out.” Alex Nightpaw said, and on that enigmatic note, he turned to the others. “Sora, Riku, Haxcz, and Werdnax, if what Little Darkstorm said is true,” He paused as Shannon quickly placed a silencing spell on Laura, who then immediately started screaming out profanities (fortunately, the silencing spell worked), and then continued on. “…You four, plus me, are going to raid the Duvalian Castle, as Lady Amourmortel must be stopped. Little Purepaw, Little Darktip, and Kairi shall stay here and work on the prophecy.” “WHAAAAAAAT!?!” Kairi and Shannon roared at the same time, and Laura continued mouthing profanities as the silencing spell had not worn off. “You’ll see why later. If you’re lucky, we’ll see you at the end of the battle.” Alex said, and all the guys walked out of the cave, Laura still mouthing profanities, Shannon actually mumbling profanities, and Kairi pouting. “They don’t think I can’t fight.” Kairi said sourly, and sat down on a rock. “Which is basically true, seeing as I have trouble even summoning my Keyblade…” “Oh, pshaw.” Laura said, regaining the capability of speech, and swung her scepter side to side with on black paw. “You nearly beat up Shanny-Boo, didn’t you?” “That was pure luck.” Kairi said, as Shannon pounded the prophecy crystal with her staff. “OPENOPENOPEN, GOD DAMMIT!” Shannon said, and set the large sapphire down on the ground, and kicked it, stubbing her toes. “OH SON OF A BI-“ She stopped in mid swear when she saw Kairi moping and Laura trying to comfort her. “You’re moping about not being able to fight, aren’t you?” Shannon said, concern showing in her amber eyes. “You’re not useless.” She said, and looked over back at the sapphire. “Wait one moment, will ya?” Shannon said, and rose on paw in the air. “THUNDAGA!” She cried, and a bolt of lightning zapped the prophetic gem, however, like before, nothing happened. “As I was saying,” Shannon gave the gem a look as if it had done her a great wrong, “you’re not useless. True, the others can fight, but do they have brains? No. Half of battling is tactics… there’s also a different form of battling for those who have great mind power… And that’s magic.” Shannon said, and picked her staff up, the sapphire hanging from it dangling side to side. “If you guys help me with the prophecy, I’ll teach you magic, since, Kairi, you could really kick ass then, and Laura, your Mage Ceremony is long overdue.” They both nodded eagerly, and then circled around the large prophetic gem, and tried to solve the mysteries of it. *** Alex Nightpaw, and four of the wielders crept along the dungeons of the Duvalian Castle, which they had so far infiltrated. Not a single Heartless or Nobody was in sight, and knowing that the Lady Amourmortel was sneaky, Alex knew this was not good at all. “Sora, Riku, Haxcz, Werdnax.” Alex said softly, and held his staff with the blue Duvalian sapphire on the end of it aloft. “I have a bad feeling about this. Back track and go find another way into the castle, I have a feeling that-“ “Hate to interrupt,” Werdnax said calmly, but summoned his black and red Keyblade, “but we’re surrounded.” Which was, indeed, true. The five were surrounded by Nobodies, Heartless and Soulless alike, along with a ring of fire. Amourmortel was cackling in the background. *** “Good. Now try a Curaga spell- it’s quite draining, but very effective.” Shannon said to Laura and Kairi, who were learning their magic quickly, Kairi making the greatest progress of the two, also having learned to successfully summon her Keyblade at any given time. The three had long given up on trying to open the prophecy crystal, and concluded that maybe only the Chosen Queen of Duvalia could open it. (However, Shannon was still quite positive that the High Magess’s successor was Laura.) “Cure!” Laura and Kairi said, and as little bells and four-leaf clovers surrounded Shannon, they grinned like idiots. “Puuuurrfect, if I do say so. No cat pun intended, really.” Shannon said, blinking her amber eyes, and gave a rare smile. “What about that one that you couldn’t quite do earlier?” Kairi questioned as Laura polished the ruby on her scepter with her cape. “Maximus Extremus?” Shannon’s ears twitched under her patched up hat, and flicked her tail side-to-side excitedly. “Oh, that one? Well, I couldn’t do it… But maybe… just maybe… Ooh, that could explain it…” She said, musingly as her two apprentices looked at her questioningly. “Yes. It would.” Shannon’s orange eyes looked at her two friends. “Maximus Extremus means Extreme Power or Maximum Power. Maybe the more who cast the spell at once, the better it will work, as maybe there isn’t enough power for one alone to pull it off.” Shannon said, and Laura and Kairi nodded. “Let’s try it.” “Maximus Extremus!” The three girls (or, rather, girls and cats), cried, and as Shannon suspected, this time, none of them collapsed, but an explosion of light went off, radiating throughout the cave, glowing more brightly than any other crystal in the cave. The three looked at each other and smiled excitedly, Shannon was glowing blue, Laura was glowing red, and Kairi was glowing gold. Suddenly, in a matter of mere seconds, the spell wore off. “Wow…” Shannon said, and held a white paw up in front of her face and looked at it. “Most curious. A side effect of power, perhaps?” “Probably. I glowed gold when Naminé reunited with me.” Kairi said helpfully, referring to her artistic Nobody. “True…” Shannon mused and then blinked her amber eyes, which suddenly shone with ferocity. “Kneel. Both of you.” She said, and Kairi and Laura knelt down on the cold cave floor, and Shannon jumped up onto the prophetic stone, easily the highest platform in the cave. “Now, seeing as we have no High Magess to secure our pledge to… ah, oh well, a ceremony is a ceremony…” Shannon babbled, and cleared her throat, and held her staff up straight, and tapped the sapphire on the end of it with a claw, making it glow and glitter. “By my loyalty to my calling as a mage, and loyalty to Duvalia and the High Magess Queen,” Shannon said clearly, her voice ringing throughout the cave, “I call upon the mages before me to look down upon these two, and ensure that they triumph in all their mage endeavors. I say this by my own oath to the Queen, and by my own right as a mage. Being a mage is to be a mage. To fight is to fight. To win is to win. Win for your loyalties. As the power I have as Mage Shannon Alexia Purepaw, rise. You are now truly mages. Long live, and all hail the Queen.” Shannon said, finishing the Oath of the Duvalian Mage. As Kairi and Laura stood and Shannon tapped her sapphire for it to stop glittering, the prophetic gem under her feet glowed. “Holy shit!” Shannon said, and jumped off the stone, and watched it split open into two halves, and a tiny scroll with markings, hieroglyphics, rolled out. “The prophecy!” Kairi said, blinking surprised, as Laura bent down to pick it up. “It’s in Duvalian Hieroglyphics. I know you can read that, then, Shanny-Boo.” Laura said, and handed the tiny scroll to her cousin. “It’s SHANNON.” Shannon said with a snarl as she grabbed the tiny scroll. Kairi and Laura waited in silence, and then Shannon spoke again, and recited the words of the prophecy. “ At the words of ‘All Hail The Queen’, the prophetic stone shall gleam, as yet the truth is left untold, however, the riddle is yours to unfold. The one with the mind as wit, And heart as pure as I, Shall wield my staff of sapphire shine. She will not go into battle with headdress or crown, But only with wit, courage and content frown. Now the rest is up to you, To find the next High Magess, pure and true.” Shannon read, and raised one eyebrow. “Sounds like a load of bullshit, but Queen Alexia was not stupid in the least.” “Well,” Kairi said thoughtfully and tucked a stray lock of red-brown hair behind her left ear, as she usually did when she was thinking, “We have the first four lines completed. When you said ‘all hail the Queen’ in the oath, the stone split in two, and now we have to solve this riddle.” Kairi paused. “It seems the only way to solve this is if we go into battle.” “So that’s why Alex wasn’t so concerned when he said we were going to miss part of the battle, we would have to come anyway!” Shannon exclaimed, and then a grin appeared on her face. “Not that you noticed that, Kairi, as you were too busy making fawn eyes at Sora.” “Was not!” Kairi said indignantly, a pink tinge appearing on her cheeks. “Of course you weren’t, deer.” Shannon said. (A/N: ahahaha bad pun)“C’mon you slow pokes!” Laura said, her mismatched eyes gleaming. “We’re gonna miss the battle!” *** Fionax cast a cure spell on Ignnyx, and leaned against a tree. The healing magic would, without a doubt, take a bit to work, seeing as the Warrior Izzra had not only slashed Ignnyx badly but blinded her. The magic will fix that. Fionax said and heard a twitter and spun around. The tiny black sparrow with red eyes was resting on a tree branch. “Xaslexia. You have no doubt received the memo I sent out to you and Xemnas right before Xellis’s meeting?” Fionax said coolly, as the sparrow fluttered down to the ground and transformed back into a seventeen year old girl. “I have received it, Fionax. The question is, however, why do you claim that we should revolt and try to take the Organization 14 as our own? Xellis, without a doubt, is dangerous. Although, like you said, we have more power than her. I’m The Shapeshifting Beauty, one of the original members of The Chaser Organization back in the Last Keyblade War… Created from Queen Alexia Pureheart’s great grandmother, Alexia Silentsoul. The extra s added in my name for my silent soul… and my shapeshifting powers… You, Fionax, The Persuasive Paradox, born as Nobody only months after Hellana was taken. Xemnas, The Last Living Soul, the last part of the Great Xehanort… Yes, it is true, we have more power than that Xellis. But your point is?” Xaslexia said, arching one eyebrow perfectly. “We could be the ones to take over Organization 14, and restore it to its name of The Chaser Organization!” Fionax said, excitedly. She turned her eyes to where a sound was heard, Xemnas had joined the group. “Are we having a party without me?” Xemnas said, looking from Fionax to Xaslexia. “I got your memo, Fionax. You are right. Xellis should not lead The Chaser Organization. I remember when it was led by Xehanort. …Or back then, he was called No-Heart…” He said, thoughtfully, and folded his arms. “No-Heart?” Asked Ignnyx, who had now fully awakened, her sight restored, but a long, pure white scar etched across her face nonetheless. “Who’s No-Heart?” “I see you have been restored, Ignnyx.” Xemnas said, stating the obvious. “I do not guess Xellis, nor these two idiots here, have told you. The leader of the very first, original Chaser Organization, Organization 14, was a Wielder called No-Heart. Yes. Xehanort is an anagram of No-Heart.” Xemnas said before Ignnyx could interrupt. “Together he banded with the Wielders that believe in power, and naught but power, as I agree, there are those who could have power, but are too weak to seek it. Meanwhile, there was the door, the keyhole, of the world Deep Dive, the world between Heavenia and Hellana. The door was called the Door of Destiny. When opened, you could only do what your destiny said, your path laid out for you by the Deep Dive, whether you will go to Heavenia or Hellana, and what I mean by that, is that if the door were opened, and you were destined for Hellana, you would not be able to die and go to Heavenia. Nor would Nobodies, Heartless, or Soulless, be able to return to their original selves or, become their original selves. You see, the fool King Mickey has actually got it wrong, because, Ansem the Wise, the king of Radiant Garden, got it wrong… He thought it was better left locked… Because Xehanort purposefully knew Ansem would twist around what he said, so Xehanort said it was better left open, well, for us, it is better left shut. Because then, Heartless can turn back into humans, Nobodies, if possible, can rejoin the body, Soulless can possess other bodies, and when you die, you can travel back and forth between Heavenia and Hellana. When open, you can’t do that. The Door of Destiny opened after Sora and Riku defeated Xehanort’s Nobody. The King was told to lock it, which is better for us.” Xemnas said then nodded at Xaslexia. “And if Xaslexia carries out her job of getting Roxas and Naminé, and Sora and his crew does learn about the Door of Destiny’s truth, they have to lock it, to reunite with their Nobodies.” “Anyway, back to the story of Xehanort. The Door of Destiny was closed after the Last Keyblade War, and No-Heart, seeking immortality, split himself into three with a manufactured Keyblade, a Keyblade without a chain. All Chaser Soulless have manufactured Keyblades. He became Ansem, the Heartless, Xehanort, the Nobody, and Xemnas, me, the Soulless.” Xemnas said, nodding. “But anyway, The Chaser Organization is not to how it used to be. Yes, Xellis is fierce and has Llamiad, Heavenia, Hellana and Deep Dive in the palm of her hand, but she is not Xehanort.” “Precisely.” Fionax sniffed. “Which is why I sent out the memo. Malexficent is also on our side, Aharrix too. If we can get Roxas and Naminé to be against Xellis, and Urkix and Zexion as well, Xellis is done for.” “Yes.” Xaslexia said. “Ignnyx, would you care to join us in our revolt? Some of the illustrious power of Destiny could become yours.” Xaslexia said, and blinked her red eyes, in which when she opened them she had changed their color to a dazzling violet. “I’d love to join.” Ignnyx said, and narrowed her eyes, looking terrifying with the new scar that was etched across her lovely face. “Good.” Fionax said. “You may join Xaslexia in trying to get Roxas and Naminé- Xellis wanted you, but I shall tell her you are dead.” “Okay.” Ignnyx said. “Heh, if we got Roxas, Naminé, Urkix, and Zexion, The Chaser Organization, Organization 14, would have thirteen members, we would only need one more.” “Silly child.” Xaslexia said, walking off, Ignnyx following her. “Having fourteen members is not a tradition, as the 14 derives from the double of the number seven, but, why not pick up another member?” The two smiled evilly. Fionax turned to Xemnas. “I’m going to tell Xellis that Izzra the Warrior killed Ignnyx. Then I will find Urkix. Tell Xaslexia and Ignnyx that when they have Roxas and Naminé, and you Zexion, and I, Urkix, we are to meet in The Other Twilight Town.” “Yes, Fionax.” Xemnas said, and walked out into the depths of the forest, just like Xaslexia and Ignnyx did moments ago. Fionax looked pleased with herself. “You shall be no more soon, Xellis… and then, I, Fionax, shall be Queen of The Chaser Organization…” *** Sora, Riku, Haxcz, Werdnax and Alex Nightpaw were trying, in vain, to escape the castle. Needless to say, they were losing. Escaping the dungeon, but not escaping the fire nor the dark beings that surrounded them, the crew found themselves in the Prophetic Hallway, the place where the Queen’s staff, crown, and other regalia was kept until the next Queen was found. “It’s impossible to get out of here!” Sora cried as he knocked aside a Heartless with his Keyblade, and looked up to see if any of the flaming wooden beams were to fall. “Our only hope is to get Amourmortel.” Riku stated as he knocked aside a Nobody. “Hope? What hope?” Werdnax scowled, and knocked aside a purple ghostly like creature- A Ghostie, the lowliest form of Soulless. “I don’t know; just protect the staff and coronet, like Alex said!” Haxcz said, dualwielding one black Keyblade and one pearly white one. “Where is he, anyway? He could be trying to help, at the very least; he just bounded off after Amourmortel as soon as we got up here.” Werdnax snarled as he decapitated a Neoshadow Heartless. “He is helping!” Sora protested as he slashed at a Dusk, “He up on the beams fighting Amourmortel!” Sora spoke the truth, as on one of the long, thick wooden planks was Lady Amourmortel, her red eyes murderous as Alex Nightpaw confronted her. “You old fool!” Amormortel hissed, waving a sword about. “You think you can defy me? The next Queen of Duvalia?! I remember back when you were the Queen Alexia Pureheart’s advisor, Alex, no doubt about that, but she too, was a fool, and I’m going to kill you in the same way I killed her!” The albino cat screeched, and without any further words, plunged the sword into Alex’s stomach, her face twisted with evil pleasure. Alex fell off the beam onto several Heartless, which disappeared immediately. “Heartless! Nobodies! Soulless! Hear me out as High Magess Amourmortel Loveheart, Queen of Duvalia- kill these fools, and you shall be rewarded!” She said, looking more malevolent as ever as she scampered over to the other side of the beam and jumped over onto the steps below it, and smashed the glass container that held the coronet, a circlet of gold with a blue Duvalian sapphire in the center of it. Amourmortel lifted it to place it on her head, but it was knocked out of her hands- in the last of his strength, dying from loss of blood and the fall, Alex Nightpaw threw his staff. The gold circlet crashed to the floor, and Amourmortel looked mutinous. “That there was an omen! That I cannot be Queen until I kill you all!” Amourmortel screeched and summoned more of the three types of the mysterious creatures from the dark. “At the very least, we’re outnumbered by twenty to one!” Haxcz said worriedly as the four were surrounded on all sides. “We’re going to die. Huh. I always wanted to go down by decapitation but I guess fighting is okay.” Werdnax said, sounding sadder that he was not being decapitated than being sad at the thought of dying. “It’s no use- we’re not going to make it.” Riku said as five Heartless jumped on Way to Dawn, his Keyblade, trying to pull it out of his hand. It’s over. Riku’s right- we’re not going to make it. Sora thought as the four were smothered by Heartless, Nobodies, and Soulless. Kairi… I’m sorry… Suddenly, a piercing battle cry, or more like a cat’s yowl, brought him back to reality. A black cat with white paws had entered the room and shot after Amourmortel- it was Shannon! Shannon’s first reaction was to help Sora, Riku, Haxcz and Werdnax, but as she saw her mentor’s dead body on the floor, she turned to Amourmortel, her amber eyes burning with fury and hate. “You’re going down Amourmortel, if it is the last thing I do!” She snarled, and Amourmortel gave a calm shrug and jumped up onto the wooden beams that went across the ceiling, and Shannon gave chase. “Great. We still have nobody helping us.” Werdnax said as he managed to fling a couple Heartless off of him, as the numbers slowly began to diminish as Amourmortel was busy fighting and couldn’t summon more. “Think again!” Yelled two voices, and Kairi and Laura ran onto the scene, using their magic power for all it was worth. “We’re not gonna die!” Haxcz said happily, and gutted three Nobodies with his dual Keyblades. “K-Kairi?!? What are you doing here?!” Sora stuttered as Kairi wiped out a couple Heartless with Thundaga. “Fighting.” She said coolly as she slashed at a Soulless. *** Shannon and Amourmortel had ceased fighting on the beams, as they could collapse at any given moment, due to the fact that they were on fire. They were now fighting on the balcony that overlooked the room and was only accessible from the upper floor, unless you took the long, workout of a detour by climbing up onto the ceiling beams. This balcony held the High Magess Staff, a long golden rod like a shepherd’s staff, which in reality looked like Shannon’s current staff, except that the end was nor rounded, but bent sharply at different angles. At the bottom end of it was a gleaming, beautifully cut sapphire, different from the polished sapphire stone that swung from the upper part of Shannon’s. “Your reign is ending now, Amour!” Shannon said, and she swung her staff at the albino cat dictator, who parried the blow with the bloodied sword she used to kill Alex. “I think not, Your Majesty.” Amourmortel said, her pink-red eyes glittering, and Shannon blinked, confused. Your Majesty? What the- but her thoughts were cut off, Amourmortel slammed Shannon into the balcony railing, which crushed and fell, however, Shannon managed to cling to the broken edge. “It’s not over yet.” Shannon growled, and flung herself back onto the balcony, swinging her staff wildly.

~Chapter 6: The Queen of Duvalia Continued~
***
“Laura- LOOK OUT!” A voice cried and someone pulled the black-pawed mage out of the way of the fallen railing. That someone was Orlando.
“You.” Laura said, although, she didn’t sound mad, on the contrary, she sounded delighted. “When did you get here?!”
“Just now.” Orlando said, and whacked a Nobody with a long tree branch. “Do you expect me to sit out in the woods and be a good boy?”
“No.” Laura said and laughed, and the two friends went side-by-side into the battle.
***
Shannon and Amourmortel were still fighting on the balcony, each of them fatigued to the point of where they could collapse, but they continued to swing staff and sword at each other, doomed to fight until one falls.
In a sudden movement, Amourmortel performed a dodge roll and grabbed Shannon’s mage staff- and snapped it in two with her bare paws.
“You have lost, Purepaw.” Amourmortel said calmly, as Shannon crashed to the ground, weary and worn-out. “And now, I shall kill you, I shall kill you in the same way I killed Alex Nightpaw and Alexia Pureheart.” Amourmortel raised her sword and thrusted it at Shannon.
Shannon swiftly jumped up and smashed the glass case containing the Queen’s staff. No longer thinking, she parried the blow of Amourmortel’s bloody sword. Her amber eyes burned with rage. “So you were the one who killed Queen Pureheart!” Shannon said, and jumped after Amourmortel.
Amourmortel looked, for once, surprised, but not surprised at Shannon’s rage, but the fact that she could wield the High Magess staff. The albino cat was so surprised she nearly fell off the edge of the balcony that Shannon nearly fell off earlier, and was clinging to it with her claws.
Shannon blinked, and held out one white paw. “Amourmortel, let me help you up, die in a fight, not from a fall.”
“I don’t want to die in a fight. Not with you, now truly knowing you are the Queen.” Amourmortel spat, and felt from the balcony, and died upon impact with the ground.
***
After putting out the fires, Heartless, Nobodies, and Soulless, disposing of Amourmortel’s body, and after moving Alex Nightpaw’s body to a safer place, the eight friends held a conference in the hall where they recently battled.
“Do you guys have a lead on who you think the Queen is?” Sora asked Kairi, Laura and Shannon. Shannon shook her head no, but Kairi and Laura smiled.
“Yes we do.” They replied in unison, and Shannon jumped up about fifty feet.
“Whaaaaat!?!? If anybody’s the High Magess, it’s Laura, because spare for the Darktip family marking on her forehead, she looks exactly like Alexia Pureheart.” Shannon said, surprised.
“No, it’s not…” Kairi said slowly while Laura looked flabbergasted and Orlando slunk off. “It’s you. You’re the one holding the Queen’s staff, and, according to the prophecy, only the Queen can wield it.”
Shannon gasped and dropped the Queen staff, which she had been holding loosely in her right paw. “B-b-b-but I’m not even of High Born blood! I don’t have one of the family markings on my forehead like Laura or Orlando!”
“But it’s you!” Kairi said joyfully, and the other nodded, and Orlando returned.
“I found the late Nightpaw’s staff, your old broken staff, and your coronet, Your Majesty.” Orlando said, laying the two staffs at Shannon’s feet and handed the golden circlet with the gleaming sapphire over to Laura, who plonked it on Shannon’s head. Suddenly, light filled the room, and blinded everybody momentarily, then it faded out.
“What just happened?” Riku said, confused, and Haxcz pointed to Laura and Orlando’s foreheads.
“Their markings are gone.” He said, stating the near-obvious.
“We’ll, I’ll be…” Orlando said, smiling. “…In the time of Queen Pureheart, there was no such thing as High Borns or Low Borns. I guess now Duvalia is back to that way.”
“Uhm. Sora.” Riku said, and pointed to the reaming pieces of Shannon’s old staff, which had floated upwards and were glowing.
“All right!” Sora said, “the Duvalia keyhole!” Sora, Riku, Haxcz, Werdnax, and Kairi then held their Keyblades up, and light emitted from each of them, and sealed the keyhole to the world of recarnations.
***
“Aw.” Shannon said, ears drooping as she adjusted her coronet. “Leaving already?”
“Have to. You don’t want the universes destroyed, do you?” Sora said, casually, and gave Shannon a lopsided smile. Riku, Haxcz and Werdnax snickered.
“Nah.” Shannon said, with a smirk as Kairi giggled, “but c’mon, you guys need a going away party. But, Laura and Orlando have decided not to show up… They’re probably making out somewhere, so don’t go interrupting them…” She said, and her tail twitched side to side, as Laura and Orlando came up and began to scream at her.
After the laughter of the moment subsided, Shannon’s expression turned serious. “You’re all splitting up, aren’t you?”
“Yeah.” Riku replied. “Sora, Kairi and I are going on one Gummi Ship, and Haxcz and Werdnax on the other.”
“That’s what I thought.” Shannon said, and pulled out a box with two large sapphires in it. “Duvalian Sapphires can be used to communicate over distances. You know the sapphire orb hanging from the end of my old staff? I put it on the Queen’s staff and took the sapphire off the bottom of it- that was the sapphire Alexia used to communicate with Alex Nightpaw.” She said, and held up the High Magess staff to show them. “And Alex’s I pulled off of his wooden staff.” She set her staff down and took out the sapphire she said was Alexia’s and handed it to Werdnax.
“That’s so I can communicate with you two, so don’t lose it.” Shannon said, tartly, and turned to Kairi, and handed her the sapphire orb that was on Alex’s wooden staff.
“When I left Duvalia he gave me a Duvalian sapphire similar to that one. Now I’m doing the same for you, ‘cause I mentored you, so to speak.” Shannon said to Kairi, her amber eyes sparkling happily. “So call me if you need me, or if these two idiots are bothering you.” Shannon said, and pointed at Sora and Riku.
“Hey! Not funny!” Sora said indignantly as Riku rolled his eyes, and the others laughed.
***
“Ready?” Sora said as he grabbed the Gummi Ship controls, Kairi nodded but Riku shook his head.
“Never will be with you driving.” Riku said, and flipped some of his long, silver hair over his shoulder.
“Shut up.” Sora said as Kairi laughed, and the three set off for another world.

A/N: More chappieness! Whoooot
Note: I know Kairi’s Grandma’s story is tweeked only sightly, but I have an Author’s License so I can do what I want. Nyah. =P
~Chapter 7: Kairi’s Awakening~
“Have you used your clairvoyantism, Xaslexia?” Ignnyx inquired. She found it so fascinating that Xaslexia could shapeshift and see into the future.
“Yes. I didn’t get anything on Maleficent, apparently, she has blocked her mind, you Londonians call it Occlumency, and so we cannot see what her future holds.” Xaslexia replied, sourly.
“I didn’t know Occulmency could do that, I thought it just blocked the mind of all thoughts.” Ignnyx said, wonderingly.
“In anyway, I found out that Sora, Riku, and Kairi are to land in Twilight Town, so that is where we shall go. All the easier to meet Fionax later.” Xaslexia said, and adjusted the controls on the Gummi Ship. “You better hold on, we’re going into Warp Drive.” She narrowed her crimson eyes, and the ship set off from Kimptonia.
***
“So where should we go to next?” Sora asked his two friends, and looked at the radar. Their ship was the only thing for miles.
“Dunno.” Riku said, airily. “Duvalia’s a bit off the map as it is, and I heard Haxcz and Werdnax saying that they’re going to go to the closest world to it, Attorneya, which is in the opposite direction of where we are driving.”
“Uhm. Guys.” Kairi said, looking at the Duvalian sapphire that was now chained along with Naminé’s charm to her Keyblade (which enhanced the flowers so they looked crystallized), “the sapphire’s glowing. Do you think Shannon’s trying to talk to us?”
“Probably. Hold it up.” Riku said and Kairi obliged. The three of them let out started eeps as it glowed and a huge projection-like screen appeared out in front of them. It was divided into two, with Shannon on the one side and Haxcz and Werdnax on the other.
“Yay for three-way calling.” Shannon said, and adjusted the coronet that was on her head, perhaps to look more formal. “Anyway, hi guys. I have two types of good news, and two types of bad news. What do you want to hear first?”
“Bad news.” Werdnax said decisively in his flat tone of voice on the other side of the screen. Everybody suppressed the urge to laugh, as Werdnax was very emo.
“My, my, aren’t we cheerful?” Shannon said sarcastically, and rolled her amber eyes. “Okay. Izzra is here in Duvalia, she landed right after you guys took off… Apparently, the world of Llamiad Castle is blocked by a green-ish aura, and she can’t get in, she suspects the Organization 14 has something to do with it, as they chased her out of Kimptonia, but she did manage to badly injure one.” Shannon paused for effect, to let this sink into some of the slower brains (like Haxcz’s), and then continued on. “The other bad news is, is that… Well… Londonia is shrouded in a black haze, and I’m sorry, but it just screams Heartless. Have you guys been keeping tabs on Maleficent-whatshername and her crew lately, Sora?” Shannon said, sounding slightly worried.
“Uh…” Sora said, looking kind of embarrassed. “I kind of forgot about them, with the defeat of Xehanort, and now Organization 14. The last time I saw Maleficent and her second in command, Pete, was back at The World That Never Was.” He paused. “Do you think they could be residing there?”
“I don’t know, but you’d better check where you can enter that world, Twilight Town. Which then brings us to our good news…” Shannon said, looking considerably more cheerful. “I got a transmitted data reading from the King Mickey, the Queen Sarah-Bob, and Donald and Goofy. Apparently, their ship crashed on the way to Radiant Garden, and they landed in Twilight Town. I don’t know if they’ll be there when you land there to check to see how many Heartless are there, Sora, but it’s worth a shot.” Shannon said, and then blinked her amber eyes, which now positively glowed at the thought of the other good news. “Second, I want all of you, this includes you guys too, Haxcz, Werdnax, to come to my Coronation, because, it’s so formal and I know nobody else except Orlando and Laura in Duvalia.”
“Isn’t a Coronation… usually followed by a dance…?” Riku said, disgusted.
“Uhhh… Yeaaaaah… But I promise if you guys come I’ll jump up on the piano and sing ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’! Pleeease!” Shannon said, and gave her infamous ‘kitten-pout’, complete with the wide, saucer-like eyes.
“I always thought I’d have to pay to see something like that, so, we’ll come.” Kairi said, raising her eyebrows.
“Ha. Very funny. And you two emos on the other screen better come too.” Shannon said, and clapped her white paws.
“Fine.” Haxcz grumbled.
“Although, I won’t be the only one singing, probably. Since cats have no sweet taste buds, and some other animals of Duvalia don’t either, all the cake and stuff is loaded with ten times the sugar.” Shannon said, grinning slightly evilly. “So, at the very least, Riku will be singing Phantom of the Opera.”
“What?!” Riku said
“Eeek, my young ears.” Kairi said, in mock horror.
“Uh-huh. The Phaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaantom of the-“ Shannon stopped singing as she noted they were all staring at her. “I’ll stop now.” She gave a dry cough. “Anyway, it probably be like… Later. When you’re done saving a couple worlds…” The cat Queen said, solemnly, suddenly becoming serious. “I’m going to transmit a map of the Llamiad Universe to both of your ships… Two worlds are crossed out with a large red x… Those would be the worlds Maximius and Aeronautica, they went kapoot a long time ago. It is magically engineered so that what ever happens to the worlds happens to the mini worlds on that map. Duvalia is glowing, because you locked it. Londonia is shrouded in a black haze, like I said, Llamiad Castle is covered in a green aura, and Kimptonia is translucent, probably because with all the magic shit Xellis has done to it, it’s almost impossible to get to.” Shannon said, and her tail fluffed up to three times its size, which happened whenever she was really pissed off.
“What’s with the little glowing cloud, a black hazy area under that, and a canyon area below that on the Llamiad and Disney border?” Kairi said, looking at the glittering 3D map she had just downloaded from Shannon.
“Don’t know… I think I know what it might be… But… I’m not the person to tell you… Well, then again, I’m not a person, I’m a feline.” Shannon said, and on the enigmatic note, she nodded. “Keep those mad fighting skills sharp, you guys, rawr! Purepaw- out.” She said, and her side of the connection faded out, leaving Sora, Riku, and Kairi with a panel of Haxcz and Werdnax.
“You guys better go to Twilight Town.” Werdnax said probably one of his longest sentences he ever said.
“…And tell Leon and the gang, when you go to Hollow Bastion, that I said hi.” Haxcz said, and when they looked at him quizzically, he shrugged. “When Kimptonia was taken over by Xellis, I hid there for a while, until when I went back to Kimptonia to save the world…”
“You didn’t.” Werdnax said, and examined a strand of his blue hair.
“Uhm. Yeah…” Haxcz said, and shook his head to clear his eyes of his blonde hair that was always falling into his face. “We’re out.” Their connection broke, and Kairi’s sapphire slowly began to quit glowing, until it was just a normal blue orb.
“So… We’re off to this Twilight Town?” Riku said, wonderingly.
“Yeah!” Kairi said excitedly. “Let’s go! Ohmygod, Riku, wait until you meet the gang, they’re soooo cool. And then the Struggle battle are just awesome to watch and-“
“Who gave you the sugar?” Sora interjected, and gave a lopsided smile. “Anyway, it’s a nice place, and we’ll be able to rest before heading onto Hollo- Radiant Garden.”
“Kairi’s homeworld.” Riku said, nodding.
Kairi nodded wistfully, as even though she told them she couldn’t remember anything, she could. Her thoughts drifted off into happy memories of her birthplace, until she had fallen into a dreamful sleep.
***
“Long ago, all the worlds were connected, and a warm light covered them. The people all loved the light, and at a length, began to fight for it. Darkness was born in the people’s hearts. The Darkness had swallowed many hearts, and much light. Before long, it had spread far, and the world disappeared into Darkness. Although, inside the hearts of children, there were small sparks of light. The children rebuilt the world using their light. However, the world they created is not all connected, and is made of many small pieces. That is because the true light is still sleeping within the Darkness. Do not lose sight of you light, Kairi.” An old woman said to her granddaughter, who nodded and ran off. The woman continued to rock back and forth in her chair, thinking of the last war, the final confrontation.
“Thinking of the old wars, Robyn?” A young man with long, white hair and orange-red eyes said. He was wearing a long white lab coat, which only made his white, illuminating hair stand out even more than usual.
“Yes, Xehanort.” The old woman, Robyn said, she gave him a weary look. “Now, what is it that you want? As I know you only come and speak to me if you need me to do a favor for you.” She said, with a sniff. She did not like the man named Xehanort.
The man in the lab coat, Xehanort, ignored the jibe. “You know that now that Ansem the Wise is gone, it is time for us to find the Next Generation. You were, as always, valiant in the Last Keyblade War, but it is time to find the younger round. It is also a time to test out my theory.” Xehanort said, quietly.
“You’re theory?” Robyn said, with a note of fear, fascination, and anger in her voice all at once.
“Yes. My theory.” Xehanort said. “My theory that a Princess of Heart can find the Next Generation of Wielders.”
“You don’t mean…” Robyn said, her voice quivering. Xehanort nodded.
“Yes, I am going to send Kairi off to a world named Destiny Islands, where one, perhaps two, Wielders reside.” Xehanort said, and he smiled maliciously.
“You can’t!” The old woman said fiercely. “You’re despicable, Xehanort… Or should I say No-Heart? It was awfully daring of you to come to the world that at least four of the Wielders reside. I thought you had died.” She said, narrowing her eyes.
“Didn’t we all?” Xehanort said, shrugging. “I am not really dead. I am in three. And I plan to rule this world, and I shall gain control of the Next Generation of Seven Wielders. Your beloved granddaughter is merely a pawn at the moment. However, you could get in the way…” Xehanort said, and a Keyblade, a Keyblade with no chain, appeared in his hand. It was black with a spear-like tip, and had a red handle. “Which is why you must say your last words now… Goodbye, Robyn, last remaining of the Seven…” He said, and slew the old woman where she sat.
***
Kairi awoke, her heart pounding. Was it a dream? Grandmother? Xehanort? I’m a pawn? What? She thought and looked around, and she got another jolt of confusion. She was not on the Gummi Ship. She was in a place where darkness was abound, much like the Dark Corridors Organization XIII used to travel, except that it was lit up by a glowing stain-glass floor, which, right now, depicted seven Keyblades.
“Where am I?” Kairi wondered aloud. “…Sora? Riku? Anybody?” She called out. No answer came.
This is your own journey, Kairi. One you must make alone in the end, but your allies will guide you. A voice said, and Kairi jumped.
“Who are you? Who’s there?!” Kairi said, trying to keep panic from showing in her voice.
A mere ally, for now. It is my task to guide you through this place. For surely you will come here again soon, but now is not the time for dwelling on the future. The voice replied. The ground rumbled and three small platforms emerged from the ground, one with a sword, one with a shield, and one with a staff, all bearing King Mickey’s insignia on it in some way. Now it is time to choose. Think only of now. Take your time, the future can wait.
Kairi knew immediately which one she would choose. She walked over and clutched the staff in her right hand, as magic was easily her forte when fighting. It felt light and weightless, as her Keyblade did, and to her surprise, her staff turned into her Keyblade at the thought of it.
Some say your journey has gone on long enough. The voice said, coolly, as Kairi was now even more confused. But in the course of life- it has only begun.
The ground beneath her rumbled again, and the stain glass floor shattered, and Kairi fell along with it, and landed on another floor below her, this stain glass one of all her friends, Sora, Riku, Selphie, Hayner, Pence, Olette, Naminé, Roxas, Donald, Goofy, King Mickey, Shannon, Laura, Orlando, Haxcz, and Werdnax. It made her smile about how many friends she had.
Your friends are power, as they power the heart. Let your heart guide you. The voice said. Your time has come. Prove your power. Do not give into the Darkness. The voice said, and Kairi felt its presence leave. She then noticed that eerie, ghostly purple smoke was beginning to drift around her feet. She turned around and let out a little scream- A giant Soulless, looking like an armored wolf, pearly white teeth dripping blood hung out of its mouth, and it gave off a ghostly aura, hence the smoke.
One giant claw reached out to attack her, but she nimbly jumped to the side, her Keyblade now in her hand. She cast Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, one magical attack after another, but it did no damage.
Dammit. She thought to herself. It doesn’t take damage from magical attacks. Kairi performed a dodge roll as the giant wolf chaser (Kairi had dubbed it the Luminous Lupine), tried to claw at her again. She slashed at it with her Keyblade, again, and again, but to no avail. This thing was invincible.
The voice’s presence returned. When things seem impossible… Don’t give up. Remember: The light is always eternal. It said, as Kairi became enveloped in the Soulless’s purple smoke, and she heard a voice, a different one from the one she had been hearing, and gave a start, as she knew whom it belonged to.
“C’mon, Kairi! Wake up! It is time for your Awakening to end, and your journey to begin.” A blonde haired girl wearing a white dress said, and blinked her periwinkle colored eyes.
“N-N-Naminé?” Kairi choked out, surprised, right before the smoke finally suffocated her, and she passed out.
***
“Naminé? Last time I knew, I wasn’t a girl, Kairi.” Riku said, with a laugh. “Just because my hair is longer than yours doesn’t mean I’m fem.”
“No. Weird dream.” Kairi said, and blinked her amethyst eyes. It seemed so real.
“Join the club.” Sora said, and Kairi laughed.
“I think it comes with the job.” Riku said, and Way to Dawn appeared in his hand. Sora nodded.
“Yeah. Were you, by any chance, in a place of darkness with only stained glass floors?” Sora inquired, Kairi nodded.
“Yes…” Kairi said slowly. Riku gave Sora a surprised look.
“Why might you ask that?” Riku said, blinking his turquoise eyes. “I’ve had a dream like that too.”
“I dunno… It was an odd feeling… Huh.” Sora said, and then grinned one of his trademark lopsided smiles that made Kairi positively melt. “Well, we’ll have to talk later- we’ve reached Twilight Town!”

A/N: Mwhaha! >D I love this fic. But I just hate this chapter so HA. Sora, Riku and Kairi are all very OOC in this chapter… I think. Bleh. Shoot me. I can’t seem to write them IC in this chapter…
I was thinking about brining in a couple members from Organization XIII into the fic in this chapter, but I decided against it. Me is so mean.
Alexias is the Mary-Suest Mary-Sue you will ever meet. :3 –nodnod- ~Chapter 8: Reverse and Rebirth~ “Woah.” Ignnyx said after Xaslexia finished shapeshifting. “Do I look good?” Xaslexia inquired. She had shapeshifted into a 15-year-old girl with long, beautiful locks of black hair and her crimson eyes were flecked with fuchsia and magenta. She wore a simple white and red school uniform that complimented her scarlet eyes. “You’re gonna knock ‘em out!” Ignnyx said and gave Xaslexia a thumbs-up. “That’s what I’m hoping to do.” Xaslexia said, and gave Ignnyx a small smile. They both cackled maliciously. *** “Ah! Twilight Town!” Sora said happily as the three walked around the Tram Common. The three had used the teleporter inside the Gummi Ship to land, as they didn’t want the same accident that occurred when they had landed in Llamiad Castle, in other words, the Gummi Ship crashing. “C’mon, Sora, Riku! Let’s go find Hayner, Pence and Olette! They’re probably at their usual hangout.” Kairi said, and skipped off way ahead of her two friends. “As if they’d be anywhere else.” Sora laughed and ran after Kairi, Riku lagging behind, cautious. “You coming, Riku?” “Well, aren’t we supposed to see if the King, Goofy, Donald, and the Llamiad Queen are here?” Riku mumbled, but Sora knew he was just apprehensive about meeting people two of his friends already knew very well. “Yeah…” Sora said slowly as they headed into the back alleyway. “But you know, life’s not all an adventure. You need to go back and revisit old friends from time to time. Besides, I don’t think the gang knows if Kairi and I made it out of the alternate Twilight Town or not.” Riku nodded understandingly, and the silence was split by a happy shriek. Kairi had reached the Usual Spot second before Sora and Riku did, and she was already smothering the gang in a big group hug. “Oh my god, it’s Kairi! And Sora!” Olette squealed happily, giving them both hugs. “We never heard if you guys made it or not.” Hayner said, trying to act as if he had never been very worried. “But it looks like you did!” Pence replied happily, waddling over. “Yup.” Kairi said, “Do we have a story to tell you!” “Oh, and the silent guy over here is Riku. Riku, meet Hayner, Pence, and Olette.” Sora said, although he didn’t have to tell Olette twice to meet Riku. “Hey Riku.” She said happily, giggling and batting her eyelashes flirtatiously. Riku shifted his feet uncomfortably. Back on the island, Riku had a lot of fangirls, and one would suspect that he’d adore and charm every one of them. Correction: he didn’t. Most of the time when Sora went to go find him, he’d see Riku running from Selphie who was screaming “OHEMGEE RIKU UR A SECKZ GAWD MARREH MEEEE!11!fifty”. This was no different, except for the fact that oddly enough, Riku didn’t run away screaming this time. He just blushed crimson and shuffled his feet. “Uhm. Er. Hi…” Riku said slowly, although Olette didn’t notice the fact that he looked like he was about to explode, and dragged him to a seat next to her. Everybody followed suit and also sat down in their usual spots of where they sit in the Usual Spot (A/N: aha lame joke that is so going in the Shannon-Haxcz-Werdnax Stand-Up Comedy show –shot’d-)Sora, Riku and Kairi then proceeded to tell of their last adventure apart, each of them telling a bit, interjecting phrases about details one of them had forgotten, after doing so, they then began to tell of their first adventure together, and happily told the gang about Llamiad Castle, talkative and hyper Laura, the feisty and spunky Shannon, the secluded and daring Orlando, and then moved into a bit of detail and warning about the threat of Organization 14, concluding with the part about their friend Haxcz and Werdnax who had a sudden change of heart (if you could call it that, for the two Nobodies.) “Oooh, you’re so brave, Riku.” Olette said, trying to chat the platinum-haired teen up. Riku groaned inwardly, while Hayner shot Riku daggers with his eyes. Kairi put her hand over her mouth to stop herself from laughing, while Sora actually did laugh (in which then Riku glared at him and Sora hastily turned his laugh into a hacking cough.) “I’ve heard some weird stories, but none as weird or adventurous as this…” Pence said, thoughtfully. “Well, there’s more to come…” Kairi said, thinking aloud. “Don’t you ever get tired of this?” Hayner questioned, his brown eyes still boring holes into Riku, not that Olette noticed. (Or cared, for that matter.) “Not really, all in a day’s work.” Riku said, trying to edge away from Olette, who was clinging to his arm with a death grip. Sora sniggered, and Riku gave him the I-wouldn’t-be–talking-Kairi-Lover look. Sora then gave Riku the What-the-hell? look. “Speaking of tired… It’s late.” Pence said, checking his watch. “Heh, I better get home, or my mom’s gonna be fried.” “Same.” Hayner said, and finally quit giving Riku the death glare. “Ditto here.” Olette said cheerfully, and reluctantly let go of Riku’s arm. “So we’ll see you tomorrow, mmmkay?” Olette said and winked at Riku. Riku could’ve sworn he just threw up in his mouth a little. Hayner’s dagger eyes then came back. “Bye guys!” Pence said, and the Twilight Town gang left, leaving Sora, Riku and Kairi in the usual spot. (A/N: I was tempted to add ‘all alone’ and make it sound wrong.)Sora and Kairi then couldn’t hold it in anymore, and burst out laughing, pointing at a fuming Riku. “Riku, Olette’s coming onto you! ¡Muy caliente!” Kairi said with a laugh, and Riku tried to whack her upside the head but she ducked. “Yeah! Riku and Olette, sittin’ in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g…” Sora started, and Kairi joined in. “First comes love, then comes marriage…” “STOP THAT SOOOOOONG!” Riku fumed, and looked like he might pull his hair out in frustration. “I do not like that… fangirl!” “You liiiiiiiiiiiie, you liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie.” Kairi said again and dodged another whack from Riku. “Anyway, I wouldn’t be talking…” Riku said, his eyes straying to Sora, then back to Kairi, then to Sora, then to Kairi, then to Sora and… you get the picture. “Riku, you’re doing the shifty eye thing…” Sora said, although he got what Riku meant, and felt slightly uncomfortable. Kairi was suddenly very interested in the nails on her left hand. Riku just shrugged. “Jesus, Sora, you can’t get a hint if it bit you in the butt. Same with you Kairi, although you’re not AS bad…” “H-h-hint?” Sora said, trying to see Kairi’s reaction out of the corner of his eye. She was now very interested in the nails on her right hand, as she had already studied her left for a bit of time. Riku rolled his aquamarine eyes. “You’re stupid. Anyways, we can’t just stay here. We should go stay at the mansion- it has over 100 rooms anyway.” He grinned. “Party time!” “No no no no no… Do remember the LAST time you threw a party without parentals?” Kairi said, flapping her arms hysterically. “I remember! You got pelted with silly string. You looked like a pink, purple, and blue mummy.” Sora said, laughing, Kairi groaned. “It wasn’t funny!” “Yes it was, especially since Riku got a picture…” “Ohmygod, YOU GOT A PICTURE?!” Riku grinned at Sora, apparently he remembered too. “Yeah, I have it incase I need to blackmail you or something…” “Then again…” Kairi said slowly, “Did I mention I also happen to have our Elementary school play on tape?” “The one where Riku and I are the pink pony?” Sora buried his face into his hands. Riku shut up about the blackmail. *** Olette skipped home, and let out a dreamy sigh. Riku was gorgeous! ‘ So… cute…’ Olette thought to herself, smiling blissfully. She was on her Cloud Nine, nothing could go wrong. Olette always hated the fact that she lived all the way across on the other side of town, near Market Street and the forest A/N: I hope I got my areas right… while Hayner and Pence lived on the other near Sunset Hill. However, she hurried home, passing the forest opening, until she heard a loud CRACK! Like the sound of twig snapping. Nobody ever entered the forest, it was too creepy, and it only leads to the Haunted Mansion, so, naturally, Olette was curious. That wasn’t a good thing. Olette whirled around and tiptoed slowly to the entrance, was that people, specifically two girls, talking that she heard? She closed her green eyes and listened. “Okay, Ignnyx.” The one voice, it sounded very commanding, said. “You are to wait back at The World That Never Was. You know how we said we’re going to meet Xellis? Well, we are, but with the New Chaser Organization being formed, we’re going to meet there and conspire first, as we are planning to get rid of Xellis. Naminé will be in your division- As Malexficent and Aharrix are a group, and Zexion, Fionax and I are, right under the rule of Xemnas. Roxas and Urkix will form another.” Olette blinked, her heart beating rapidly out of nervousness as she heard the girl speak. Roxas? Naminé? They were Sora and Kairi’s Nobodies, as she had learned from their story of their adventures. “But, Xaslexia, I know that.” Ignnyx said, sounding slightly impatient. “What I don’t know is your plan. I know you are here to get Roxas and Naminé, and I know you’ve taken the form of a girl their age to become ‘friends’ with Sora, Riku and Kairi, but you haven’t exactly told me how… and I’m curious as to know how you’re going to go about splicing their Nobodies from their bodies.” “Why, we splice them with a special power all Soulless… All Chasers have. We massacre them. Massacring is really, just the art of either splitting yourself into the three parts of the human, the Heartless, the Nobody and the Soulless, separating Nobodies from their Others, or making one’s mind massacred to become a Soulless. Soulless are rarely born naturally. Except for your case.” Xaslexia explained. ‘ Pah! Your case. Ignnyx was our first success! One Princess down, and another, so twelve to go…’ She thought, then continued. “All Chasers can create Soulless by delving into another’s mind and bringing out the Darkness in their soul. A Princess of Heart cannot become a Soulless naturally, only by massacring. So there is no Soulless for Kairi… Nor Sora, which is how he managed to keep his memories as a Heartless. Oddly enough, when he pierced his heart with that Chaser’s blade, he should’ve split into three, not just two…” Xaslexia mused to herself. “Okay…” Ignnyx said, smiling. “So I could create a Soulless?” “Can a cat meow? Of course you could.” Xaslexia said with an exasperated sigh. “What do you think I was rambling on about? You’re so slow…” Ignnyx brushed off the insult. “But what are you going to do about Riku?” Xaslexia’s red lips turned upwards in an evil grin. “Riku is… a special case. Urkix and Riku have absolutely nothing to do with each other.” She said. Ignnyx looked at Xaslexia, confused. “I’ll tell you later.” Xaslexia promised. “But we have no use for Riku. We only need the fourteen Princesses, and the Master of the Wielders, so by all means, if everything goes according to plan, dispose of Riku…” Xaslexia frowned. “But, of course, they’re going to put up a fight, so it’s not going to be easy…” Olette had heard enough. She had to go warn Sora, Kairi and… Riku. Riku. Definitely Riku. She walked backwards slowly as to not make any noise, but only to step on a skateboard (who put that there?!) and trip and do a backwards somersault, landing on her butt, and she let out a hiss. There was no way anybody couldn’t have heard the crash. And she was right. Xaslexia put a finger to her lips and motioned to follow, as the two female Chaser Soulless heard a crash and a girl yelp. She and Ignnyx crept out of the gape in the wall, to find Olette staring at them, horrified and furious at the same time. “I’ve heard everything.” Olette said, standing up, although she knew she had lost all dignity she had with these two, not that she DID have any. “You’re with Organization 14. You’re part of the bad group Riku, Sora and Kairi are hunting down!” “Organization 14?” Xaslexia said, amused, and Ignnyx let out a snigger. “Oh, no, we’re splitting from them, and forming a NEW group. The Chaser Organization.” Xaslexia said sweetly, yet it was oozing with maliciousness. “Care to join us?” “No! Never!” Olette screamed. “Well, that’s too bad.” Xaslexia smiled and Ignnyx cackled. “Looks like we didn’t go according to plan, Ignnyx. Take her back to the castle, I’ll get the other two.” Olette’s scream pierced the town. *** “Do you remember the time Tidus brought his tree frog to school and it got loose and they found it in the drinking fountain later?” Riku said to Sora and Kairi as they walked to the mansion, talking as they usually did before the events two years ago had happened. “Yeah! The look on Selphie’s face when she found it was priceless!” Sora said with a laugh and Kairi giggled. “She hasn’t looked at a frog without screaming since. I remember when we were playing blitzball in gym and Wakka’s aim was so bad that he hit the teacher in the head and knocked him out for three days.” Kairi said, and the others laughed. However, she pondered how many moments the three of them would have like this, and if, by the end of this adventure, would there be three? What if one of them died? What if Sora died aga- no, that wasn’t going to happen. Was it? “Remember when-” Sora started, but didn’t get to finish as a girl’s scream was heard. As a sort of natural reflex, he whipped his head (cracking his neck), in Kairi’s direction (even though the scream wasn’t loud enough to be really close by), to make sure she was okay. “Ohmygod, who was that?” Kairi said, her violet eyes looking from left to right. “It sounded like Olette!” Riku said and Way to Dawn materialized in his hand, Sora and Kairi’s Keyblades in theirs, and the three friends ran towards the forest. They reached the forest to find a girl, but not Olette, being smothered by purple floating Soulless. Sora and Riku smacked them away but Kairi only did so half-heartedly. She felt there was something oddly eerie all of a sudden, and it had to do with these Soulless and that scream. The girl who did scream though stood up and dusted herself off. Sora and Riku’s jaws dropped. She was a knockout! Around the age of fifteen, she had raven-black hair that was curled in beautiful ringlets that fell to her shoulders and a creamy white complexion. Her eyes were a red-violet, which was sort of strange but pretty cool. She was wearing the Twilight Town school uniform- white with a red and orange plaid tie and matching skirt. The girl blinked and heaved a long sigh. “Thanks so much. I thought I was done for, what were those things?” she said grinning, her teeth, of course, being white and perfectly straight. “Oh, forgive me, I’m so rude. My name’s Alexias.” Alexias stated pleasantly. “Those were Soulless.” Riku replied quickly. “I’m Riku, the stupid one’s Sora, and the other girl is Kairi.” “I’m not stupid!” Sora replied to Riku indignantly, shooting him the ‘you’re-trying-to-take-my-girl’ look he’d always give Riku when Riku would act like a bigshot in front of Kairi, except for the fact that Sora was mad he’d been called stupid in front of the ever-so-hot Alexias. This whole situation disturbed Kairi, as not only was there the fact that Sora was hitting on a girl he just met, but Alexias was sliiiightly creepy. If Riku was positive it was Olette… where was Olette? Not only that, Alexias’s voice sounded completely different from Olette’s. So how could he have thought it to be the same? And there was just something… evil about those red-violet eyes, and which to Kairi they seemed a more malevolent red than a pretty violet like her own eyes. The girl let out a tinkling laugh. “Heh. Nice to meet you, Sora, Riku, Kairi…” She nodded her head, letting her black curls swish artfully around her face. “I was inspecting this mansion because I research Nobodies.” Alexias explained, smiling. “Ever since Organization XIII went down, it seems that they have been slightly out of control, and this is possibly where it starts, because they sometimes come out of the mansion here in mass quantities.” “I defeated Organization XIII!” Sora said with a swagger and Riku smacked him upside the head. Kairi wanted to pour bleach down Alexias’s throat. That’d be a nice, painful death. Riku looked at Alexias with intrest. “You study Nobodies?” Alexias giggled. “Yes, I do. Strange, no? My father is a scientist. I did not know what those strange creatures were, so I did not know how to defend myself. They seem to be the third part of the body, yes? Heartless, Nobodies… Soulless…” She hesitated on the last line. “Well, let’s go in, shall we, boys?” Alexias murmured, and Sora and Riku both rushed to take over of her hands. You liar! Kairi thought to herself, trudging along behind them. You know exactly what is going on! You’ve put Sora and Riku in trances! She fumed, seeing red the same color as her hair. I’m going to get to the bottom of this if I have to do it myself! The four walked into the mansion, and Alexias pulled away from Sora and Riku. “Thanks.” She said, and her eyes flashed red for the briefest moment. Sora and Riku seemed to freeze for a few seconds as Alexias walked off towards the library entrance. Crap. The Alternate Twilight Town. Which led to The World That Never Was. Major crap. There was no way Alexias could already know where it was unless there was something she wasn’t telling them. Kairi thought about going after her, but if Alexias could take over Sora and Riku with just a glance, why not her? Perhaps her resistance had something to do with being a Princess of Heart, but there was no way Kairi could take on Alexias alone. But how would she wake Sora and Riku up from their trances? Uhm… Well, there was one way. Two ways. Kissing Sora would be nice… But Riku? Naw. So she took the other option. Kairi walked up to Sora. “Sorry, sweetie.” She said in a sing-song voice. SLAP!Sora’s eyes immediately returned from their deadened state. “Ow… What was that for?” Kairi shook her head. “There’s no time, Sora, I think… I think…” She paused for a second and he looked at her, concerned. “I think someone from Organization XIV is trying to get into The World That Never Was from here.” Sora, blinked, struggling to comprehend, then muttered “shit” under his breath. He looked sideways at Kairi. “How do you know this?” “You and Riku, well, Riku still is, were under trances. A girl, about our age, black curly hair, red eyes, did that.” Kairi said, impatiently. They had no time for this. “Little whore.” Sora said, and Kairi managed to giggle. That, Alexias was indeed. “C’mon, we have to get Riku out of his… trance…” Kairi said, looking at her silver-haired friend. Now along with the vacant expression in his eyes, he was also drooling. “Me! Me! Oh, let me hit him!” Sora said happily and bonked Riku on the head with the Kingdom Key. Riku’s eyes returned to their normal state and he rubbed his head, face in a pained expression. “You’re a son of a bitch, Sora.” “Now, now, Riku. That’s my mother you’re talking about.” Sora said, but Kairi then dragged the two up the stairs and to the right. Alexias was going down! *** Xaslexia walked about the large room that connected the computer room and the pods. True, she needed the portal back in the computer room, but she wanted to at least see what else was in DiZ’s labs before she went to that godforsaken castle in the freaking middle of nowhere. “It’s over, Alexias.” A voice said, and she turned around to see Sora, Riku and Kairi pointing their Keyblades at her. Alexias blinked, and pondered for a minute on whether she should play dumb, or just retaliate. She chose the latter. The black-haired girl grinned cruelly at the three of them. “My my, now, violence, like drugs and sex, isn’t the answer, kiddos. Didn’t your parentals ever teach you that?” She said, clucking her tongue. Alexias never gave them a chance to answer, though, for in a blinding flash of light she transformed back into her usual 17 year old self, wearing the white trench coat as usual. She smirked. “Guess not. So that gives me an excuse to fight back.” Alexias yawned. “Just, who the hell are you?!” Riku yelled at her, and Alexias grinned. “Why, Wielder of Twilight, I’d thought you’d never ask.” She said with a malevolent grin. “I’m Xaslexia, Chaser IV. The Shapeshifting Beauty…” Xaslexia said in a soft voice, dripping with evilness. With a little foosh! sound, a Keyblade materialized in her hand. Or was it a Keyblade? It looked like one. Silver, with crystallized thorny roses weaving from the handle to the tip of the blade, the blade part being something like ripped leaves. It looked like a Keyblade. But it had no chain. “Who wants to fight me? Hm?” Xaslexia cooed, “or are all of you scared?” Riku took one step forward but Xaslexia’s reflexes were faster than lightning and sharper than a sword, and with a loud cry, she screamed “THUNDAGA!”, slamming Riku into the back wall, cries of shock escaping Sora and Kairi’s mouths. “Who wants to try next?” Xaslexia said, licking her red lips, and Kairi’s heart plummeted. They were going to die. Just then her world seemed to fade in and fade out, until it went black. I died! Whoo! Party with Jesus! Kairi thought sarcastically, but that’s when she realized she didn’t die. Watch this for ideas on how to beat Xaslexia, Kairi.…Naminé?!Do I sound like Naminé to you?! Good God, Jesus, Joseph, Mary, little Donkey and Hojo… I’M ROXAS! NOTE THE NON-GIRLY VOICE THAT SOUNDS UNCANNILY LIKE JESSE MCCARTNEY! And I thought Sora was the dumb one……He’s not stupid…YOU don’t live in his head. Strange place, might I add… Gah! Just watch this! Because I’m cool.Fire split the room as a man in a black coat with red hair, whom Kairi knew and despised as Axel, screaming at a bewildered Roxas. You’re gonna get baked like a cake.No I’m not! …Although cake’s cool.Roxas then pulled out two Keyblades, which she knew as Oathkeeper and Oblivion. Double-Wielding. Dammit. Why didn’t SHE think of that!? Told you I’m smart.Roxas… you’re not smart, you’re blonde…Ex-squeeze me?Remember who else is blonde, Kairi!N-Naminé! H-hi!No more voices! I’m getting a massive headache! The past faded back into the present, where apparently no time whatsoever had passed. Xaslexia was still smiling evilly at Sora and Kairi. “I said, who wants to try next?!” Xaslexia said, growing impatient. “Kairi, run for the door while I-” Sora said but Kairi interrupted him. “Get your ass kicked? I don’t think so.” Kairi said, and made Oathkeeper materialize in her left hand. “Wherever you go, I’m always with you, remember?” “Cut the mush!” Xaslexia cried and Sora rolled his eyes, having Oblivion appear with a foosh!“Quiet, bitch.” Sora said, and chucked Oblivion at her head. The fight had begun. Xaslexia stared in surprise for a few seconds, and then unleashed a fury of white lightning from her fake Keyblade, which would have surely caused some damage if Kairi hadn’t cast Reflega. The two Wielders of Light thrust blow after blow on the Chaser, but no damage was seemingly done. “You really think you can kill me? Roxas, Naminé. We’re of the same atmosphere.” Xaslexia said, evilly, making Sora stop to pause. “Huh?” He said, blinking at her, and that was kind of the end of the fight, for Xaslexia made her move. With a blinding flash of light, she struck Sora in the chest with her weapon, not killing him, but making him crash to the ground in unconsciousness. In one of the two larger crystalline roses on Xaslexia’s fake Keyblade, however, was blue light. Roxas. “SORA!” Kairi cried, but that moment of hesitation was all it took for Xaslexia to do the same to her. In the other rose was now gold light. Naminé. With all three Wielders on the ground, Xaslexia cackled, and transported herself to The World That Never Was.
