I am turning it into a novel. It's under the working title of 'Fire and Ice' (I know, it a crappy title, but can't think of anything better), and Cold Water is the prologue, and will remain up for a while.

I tried to write a novel once. I turned it into an unfinished fanfic. You're doing the opposite! YAY FOR EMMA!

So, just how well is your novel progressing?

Not well.

Aw, that's a pity. Perhaps outlining could help? I read during NaNoWriMo last year that it's a good idea to know what the next four scenes are, so you can help your novel progress smoothly. I mean, if your next four scenes are really boring crap scenes you don't want to write, you can see what the problem is.
Also, you can skip ahead to a more interesting scene and then work backwards without the huge joltiness that happens when you skip ahead to halfway through the story.

It's also helpful in determining which way your story should go next, so that you're never stuck because you always have the next four scenes available to write.
